It's your loss if you choose to stop collecting.

People are going to give you a hard time about it as you get older. It just goes with the territory of collecting toys - that is essentially what they are, like it or not. All my friends stopped when we got into middle school because they were too concerned with how others perceived them to be. It's a delicate age to be at. There's a lot of pressure to be 'cool', impress girls, and to like whatever everybody else likes/doesn't like. Let's face it, collecting little dolls just isn't cool. If you can come to terms with that, it's not hard to shake that feeling of "I'm too old for this" about most things in life.
Then again, if you legitimately have lost interest, that's 100% fine and understandable. This hobby costs a lot of money to keep up with. I just hate to see people giving up something perfectly healthy and fun based on the reactions of their peers. I lost too many old friends due that kind of shit.

Ace Frehley is 64 and he has one of the biggest collections on the forum. I Highly doubt Black Flair owner is 64

I am 26 and still collecting. I love it. I am a Middle School Teacher and talk figures and wrestling with my students at school. Also when I am making one of those ridiculously large purchases I just nod to my one year old son in line and people assume they are for him and that I am a crappy parent. I am not embarrassed it is just that sometimes spending $100 at once seems a little odd to people!

I'm 25 and I just fell behind (70 figures behind) on my MOC collection. So I'm collecting loose of what I like and parts.

I'm 22 and collect more than ever. Half the stuff I collect you cant even get in toy departments and arent even available to "kids". Hell, I still watch cartons. That wont end, thats who I am, why change? Not that I’d have to, no one has ever given me a problem with it, why would they, they think its cool, everyone collects something. Dont be so insecure about it.
That’s like telling a little girl who loves jewelry, she cant wear it when she’s older. Do older women not wear jewelry? Do older guys not play video games? Do older people not go to Disney World? Eh, your loss if you still enjoy it, not ours. You wanna quit because the 4 in your age goes to 5, quit.
But yea, you're gonna be 15, better start saving up for that Miracle-Ear!

Well it is apparent that my parents want me to stop collecting Hell my dad thinks i am too old to watch wrestling... Does your dad realize that there are people much older than you who are still very big fans of wrestling?

You are young yet. I collected since I was 6 years old and the LJN Rubber Guys came out I remeber walking in TOYS R US with my father and the shelf was packed with the First series Hogan,Studd,Snuka Andre etc. I will never forget my eyes just lighting up and it was from then until I was 14 I had every Figure put out from LJN to Hasbro. I did not collect for 12 years until I walked past a candy store and saw a Classic Superstar series 2 George the animal steele with the real hair. It just brought back memories and now the rest is history. I am 28 years old with a Wife,Child and a house and I own all the classic figures loose and Carded except for impossible 1 of 100's. It really takes the stress off of life and makes me happy. My wife is fine with it. We have a Room in our house just for Classic Superstars.
There does come a time in life where you stop something..but if you truly loved it to start you will be back

I started collecting when I was 12. I collected LJNS and Hasbros. Then I got out of it for awhile. Then in 1998, I saw a cool toybiz Sting at a wrestling show that I was on. So I bought some of them and a few BCAs. I never really got back into 100% until CS5. I bought the CS2 Flair and the more and more I saw those Classics, the more and more I had to have them.
Noone ever quits completely. It is an addiction HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. The people at TRU and KN know me by name now. They even give first dibbs. In fact the KB lady even has my cell number lol....

Yes i am 14 years of age almost 15 and know it is time to stop collecting as i am getting a little too old, I do agree with you..... at almost 15 years you are WAAAAAY too old to do a childish thing like collecting wrestling figures.
