Well i picked unmatched fury series 3 up a couple of days ago, bu ti want to keep them MOC. Of course, the packaging being the way it is, means i can open them, and reseal them. Anyway, i opened up UF3 so i could take pics for the loose database when i noticed this. Its not bad enough they wont even mould them properly (Sabu's pants not tucked in) but avoiding painting them.. Why make the line!? Platinum edition my bollocks. Look, they didn't even paint Cena's hair all the way around: I'm hoping its only mine thats like this. Anyone else have UF3 and can confirm if this is an error or if they're all like that? LOL.. Platinum edition...

I was about to buy this, then I noticed the unfinished hair, and after seeing that ALL of them were like that, I passed. And that just proves, that Jakks loses sales from their lazyness.

Whoa that really sucks. I am actually thinking of getting that Cena, but if all Cenas are that way, then...no thanks.

I always thought UF looked like cheap pieces of crap.
They should detail the clothes, skin, ect. Similar to McFarlane.

But I don't get it?
they did his hair perfect the first time around, in UF1, but they manage to screw it up on a repaint.
They better not do any more re-paints in this line.
Its just typical Jakks.

I like this line but they shouldnt be messing things up like that. I'm debating in my mind every week if I should buy some of them to display or not and things like this are putting me off.

I woud'nt even bother to start buying these things. There OK and all but really arent anything special. Half of them i found were all cheaply done with paint errors and paint marks all over them. It really sucks for people that buy these things.

Considering that the only selling point of UF is the superior sculpt and detailed paintwork they really do cheap out and make alot of mistakes. Regular TNA figures have better paintwork than UF and that's just their normal figures (I only have 3 TNA figures and 500 RAs so I'm not biased towards Toybiz at all) If UF had been what we'd expected which was high quality, detailed McFarlane style figures then I would have bought every single one but I had massive trouble finding a decent Hogan from series one and even still it has a big pink splodge roughly brushed onto the abs that was obviously done to cover an even worse splodge, so I can't buy them online and I can't find properly painted ones in the few shops that sell them so there's no way I'm going to waste my money on them. I prefer the detail and paintwork on RAs, UFs just look home made to me, only I would make them look better if I painted them myself. The protos always look amazing but Jakks cheap production and corner cutting ruins the final product every time.

I recently bought a Shawn Michaels, Mr. perfect, & Ric Flair UMF and decieded to keep them MOC while a friend of mine bought the recent series and opened them and they look and feel really cheap when they are loose. I'm glad i kept mine in the box.

I never knew about this. Thanks for posting. It really is a disappointment. I thought the UMF line was going really really well but my opinion has changed a bit now. Looks like jakks still finds a way to partially ruin some things.

It's things like this that make me wish I never got back into wrestling figures. It's just ridiculous how cheap and lazy Jakks is. I've never seen a company as cheap/lazy as they are.
