He actually wore the green singlet a few times in 1989. He used an all green one first, then had a green/black singlet later in the year. Check Wrestlemania 5 and Survivor Series 1989 if you need proof.
I love the green attire, and I'm waiting for an RA version. But you nailed the blue, PJ! It looks clean, even, and well, perfect! It actually looks like Jakks made it themselves.
