rsr2 is a ring, the cage doesnt need to be on, mine hardly ever is. theres little red clips that attach to the turnbuckle posts... no holes or anything. the ring is awesome, i too was skeptical of getting one at first but it was so worth it. grab a RSR2 my friend, u wont regret it.

Any of the RSR V2's would be the way to go. I recently ordered the Rocky rsr, and it is leaps and bounds better than the first version. More of a solid foundation in the ring, and the ring posts so it doesn't cave in. And there is always Hell in a Cell coming next year... ;D
