I'm in desperate need of a ref becuase I don't have one, and I need one for collection. Any ones that look more like legit refs than others. I'm thinking ppv14 Bischoff becuase he sorta looks like one, plus I have a $60 gift certificate to Target that I got from my orthodntist, and I'm pretty sure he would be there. So any reccomendations? BTW are they fun to use in matches?

get a ad trish/hbk 2 pack. they are both in ref outfits and just do head switches. you have a male and female ref. problem solved!

I would go with the old ttl Earl actually as the best ref, but for an RA one I agree with the idea of the Rocky figures.

I have 3 of the Diavari Refs (painted them up to be ECW and Smackdown ones plus the RAW one included heads so they don't clash w/ the Diavari in Managerial Gear) and the Rocky Ref for the older WCW and Superstars brands I have. They all do great but I have to ask...who do you people switch heads too whenever you have the HBK is Ref garb?

a ref is a good fig to have just because if u want someone to interfere when the ref is distracted, its better than just imagining if he was there.

I have Earl Hebner in my arena display. The Dave Hebner figure looks a bit bulky.
It would be good if JAKKS could put some curent refs in sets...maybe a TT set to get them out, each 3-pack containing one ref from Raw, Smackdown & ECW with 2 Superstars.

I put a Rocky 2 Tony Gazzo head on NYR HBK...turned out OK, I guess.

i agree, the rocky ref is a good choice. works great and having a ref makes things funner if you use the right amount of imagination

The Rocky ref is the best IMO.
I also 'use' a NYR Shawn Michaels with Brent Musberger head. It also works out very well.

I originally used a Sylvian Grenier head on my ref but I use at the moment Ric Flair RA14 head hair painted blonde. It's an attempt at Charles Robinson, but I'm getting a Dave Hebner figure in the post so i will switch heads with that (I'm pretty sure it has a ball joint, and it's bigger than the Earl Hebner so would look better on RAs)
My referee is a mishmash of a few figures and it works amazingly well:
RA14 Ric Flair Head AD20 HBK Torso PPV8 HBK Arms AD20 HBK Forearms AD17 John Cena hands with knux sanded off (I insist everybody tries this, one of the hands is perfect for slapping the mat and the other can hold a figures arm up very well.) AD20 HBK Pants TTL Renegades Shane Boots.

I wish Jakks would make some NEW RA referees. I have asked about them in every Q&A since 2003 and they always say "yes we will make some", BUT THEY NEVER DO!! Would make MUCH better exclusives than "yet another" repaint of Cena, Batista, Triple H etc that we seem to get with every playset... I really want a Charles Robinson and Mickey Henson to pose with my RAs
