congrats it's a pretty good figure, but they could have made more of an effort with the guitar IMO, isn't that a BCA guitar? either way it looks crap especially when you look at guitars on mcfarlanes music figures.

I'm not sure if it is or not. I think it's alright for an acoustic and I wasn't expecting 100% accuracy knowing how Jakks has cheaped out on us before. The only thing I don't like about it is that the strap is not long enough. It's really tight against HTM's neck when he has the jumpsuit on. |

It's hardly the "most under rated figure" no one would shut up about the jumpsuit, people went on about it so much that they didn't even realise that the face looks nothing like Honky Tonk Man. Actually I think it's the most OVER rated figure ever, now we are getting a whole 3 pack containing one extra HTM jumpsuit and 3 rubbish figures instead of a proper Rhythm And Blues 3 pack.

I'm pretty sure the guitar was released with a TTL figure, actually. I own the exact same guitar (don't have CS14 HTM), so it definetly was released at least 6-7 years ago. |

Granted, the expression throws it off a bit, but I think it's an amazing likeness. All in all, I love the figure... I'm not sure what I'm going to do when I get it as far as keeping him in the jumpsuit or displaying the tights... I may get this one and the three pack so I can do both.. |

The guitar is definitely from the BCA days. I got mine from DTA 2 series. The guitar I believe said "Don't make me mad" in reference to the "Don't piss me off" T-shirt he used to wear..  |

First off, I love that Honky Tonk Man figure. I think it's one of the best in CS so far. I'm glad I was able to send my MOC figure to him and have him sign it for me. That was awesome for him to do that. Now, here is proof that the guitar is from the old BCA days. I still have a bunch of the old Grapple Gear sets MOC and here's one set that includes the exact same guitar that comes with The Honky Tonk Man.  |
