I didn't realize, but those figures are " Deluxe Build & Brawl". Interesting. Probably just a little side line for DAs. But they look very cheap.
Edge only has his middle tatoo and his scan is weird. HHH's scan is great, though.

That is the worst set of Jakks protos at a toyfair I have ever seen. They are nothing but awful and a waste of design/money and everything else that goes into making such rubbish. The CS16's look amazing, the Giant Gonzalez is one the best classics I've seen. It's a pity they're making eggs of Umaga rather than showcasing much else.

imo, cena's pants look smaller in the Build and brawl DA Fig, Possible DA Hooliganz ? The build and brawl figures are smaller than normal figures. The sign says they are 3 3/4 inches tall. So they look smaller because, well, they're smaller. But there is a DA London shown on the RAW Arena box in the light blue attire.

It says Titan Tron technology, are they bringing the foot things back? o.O
Also, Maximum Aggression is the best idea that Jakks have EVER come up with, seriously, amazing.

The build and brawl figures could be interesting. If they are the size it says they are, that would mean they are about the size of a GI Joe figure.
The Maximum aggression figures are supposed to be 10 or 12 inches aren't they??

The "egg-heads" seems to be an effort to replicate the market for vinyl toys or designer toys. I'm not sure I buy it working with a mass market license, though. Seems more like something the company thinks they have to do because its what is being done.
While I'm encouraged that they are getting on board with the "build-a-something" idea, I think they are applying it wrong. Building an awful little ring set-up really misses the point of that sort of promotion. I'd really wish they just paird DA figures with painted belts. All I ask for. As long as the price point is the same, though, I won't really care. Useless ring or useless cartoonish accessories.
On the issue of DA, I'm intrigued about their "Maximum Aggression" line. If those are in scale with DA, its got my interest and is another instance of Jakks copying trends but this time to good effect. They look like they could be a large scale, though. Which is fine, but I don't collect in larger scales and am personally unlikely to start. Still, if they are going back to the drawing board, why no double jointed elbows? It was sadly missing in DA and its discouraging that they didn't take this opportunity to fix that.
Really, so much of this is a march through Jakks trying to copy current trends in collectibles. Another example is the animated style statues of Umaga and Undertaker. Unlike the vinyls, this interests me and could work. While I don't buy that sort of thing, I do think it looks very well executed, though I'd probably have held off on doing Taker since that pose, while iconic, is also pretty static. The Umaga figure is a much better example of what they can do with the animated style statue.
The Raw arena has been on wish lists for a while and the execution is what I'd expect. They just didn't interpret the stage very well and I'm not interested as a result. Its a shame, because they've done entrance stages well, but here they just over did it and lost focus on getting the stage right. They seem to be trying to make the "door" in scale, while cheating the scale overall. The result just looks wrong. Still, barracades are a nice accessory and if it works with the Hardcore ring, I might pick one up.
Also long desired is the to-scale Cell. Quite an undertaking, and I'm sure it'll cost an arm and a leg. I have no good means to display it, so I'll probably pass but I'm glad they are making it.
