I still say the fourth TTL set, the first to use Real Scan, was awesome. Cactus Jack, The Rock, X-Pac, Road Dogg, Triple H, and Big Show. Other than that, they were good for the time but RA, DA, and all of the other figs we get now--at least in my opinion--easily win any contest between them.

They were the best. I remember hunting Unchained Fury like a madman.
All the earlier sets( Rebellion, ROTR) were nice, but I was more into the WCW Toybiz figs.

THis was a time when Jakks had there s**t together and didn't miss back designs of shirts and loads of other little details I just feel they put more effort in back then.

That was my favorite era too. Me and most of my friends really got into collecting around the time real scan figures first came out. I still use some ttl with my ra's still today.

I was collecting BCAs when they first came out and they were so hideous, I stopped collecting wrestling figures all together until RAs came out.

They were great because they were the first to give us real scans. It was kinda like jakks awkward stage. You know, they had zits and glasses, but you knew one day they would be hot. Favorite TTL's Crash Holly, Raven, and Saturn (despite the arms not matching the torso the tattoos were Jakks first attempt at tattoo accuracy in a multi-tattooed superstar)

I remember the earlier 1999 TTL figures and just how horrible they were,
but 2000-2002 was a very good time for Jakks figures. I still own many of the TTL figures I bought during that time period. My favorites have always been the Famous Scenes 2 HHH/Cactus Jack two pack, TTL10 Kane, ROTR(2 or 3?) Raven and the later versions of X-Pac and the Roaddogg.

No Way Out never came with one. IMO ROTR1 is still the best.

I loved the finishing moves/ final count series figs as they had a lot of articulation and still beat DA's in my opinion when it comes to playability. If Jakks produced DA's with finishing moves arms the figures would be near on perfect.

I loved TTL's, athough RA are better, I thought Jakks put so much effort into those particular figures, little details like Crash Holly's arm joint on his very first figure.
Famous Scenes 2 Triple H vs. Cactus Jack is my favourite of all the TTL's, the first use of Hunters new (and best) scan, plus the leg taping makes it, in my opinion, THE most accurate Triple H ever produced.

I was a big fan of TTL's. I loved BCA's, so when Jakks changed the style of their figures, I was apprehensive at first. I collected all of The Rock's TTL's figures. At first they sucked because of the head scans, but Jakks started doing Real Scan. I was hooked after that until R3's began. I didn't start collecting again until RA's arrived.

TTL's were the shit. Collecting was so much fun back then. There's still a lot of TTL figures that still hold up to this day. The thing that was so great about TTL's was for the most part they had all of their detail, something Jakks doesn't care to do now of days. Figures like ROTR 2 Raven, ROTR 1 Tazz, TTL 8 Hardyz, UCF Hurricane, Famous Scenes Cactus Jack and many more will always be remembered as being great. Even the many Rock's and Austin figures we got back then were more so much more accurate then any CS figures we have of them.
