First of all I must say that Unmatched Fury has improved since series one with more realistic body sculpts. Series 1 had Hogan with abs, but eventually they got rid of the superhero bodies and have guys like Kennedy and Rock the right body sculpts. Good job there. Second of all, after the garbage that was the UMF DX, the ones that came out were very good.
Anyway here's my main gripe about UMF. Why don't all UMF figures come with the turnbuckle posts and ropes? Guys like Hogan and Rey had these, and they really add to the visual display of the figure. On the other hand, guys without it, such as Rock or Austin, look pretty dull without the effect of the turnbuckles.
For a "Platinum" edition series they should include it in all releases. What do you think?

I'm a big fan on UF. Especially with the detail in getting classic superstars in their signature poses. I see your point abot the turnbuckles , you would expect all out for a preium series. For me , I kind of prefer they don't have them just becuase UF figures are one that I will display loose and I don't have the room for the figures and other stuff so it's a hassle to find something to do with the turnbuckles. Plus I like the way they look displayed better on their own.

I'm a Big fan of the UMF figures. I personally think these are the best figures since the RA line.
I have to agree with you Skribbel, Ring posts definatly make the figure better for loose display purposes

I kinda agree. I dont really have a favourite, but i think it would make sense to change the base they come with (the one that has no buckles) so it has ropes running behind them. so it would look like the wrestler is in the centre of the ring with the ropes behind him. Like when HBK does his flexing in the ring. But i don't mind either way.

I agree, i think there should be some continuity with this line and it is a shame to see that the posts are not included with every figure in every set.

UMF are cool, but I can't be bothered to buy them when they're $15.

i think sculpt-wize they're quite good, but the sculpts sometimes look like they've been "prodded around" too much (eg Hogan being too ripped, Rock looking slightly oddly proportioned)
but the main reason why I don't buy them, is they aren't RA scale, so they don't fit in with my collection.
I was planning on buying them all when the protos first came out, I thought they were RA scaled. but just like with DA, Jakks fails to realize the importance of scale. at least IMO anyway.

I like the UMF series. I only collect the wrestlers I like out of these sets tho. So far I only have Hogan, Mysterio and Taker. I passed on cena cause I didnt like the pose, and Im waiting till next week to get Perfect.
I cant wait to get Austin, Rock, Mankind, Eddie, and Orton... they will look great.
And Yes, Turnbuckles make the fig so much better. Hogan and Mysterio look outstanding with them.

I'm a big fan too, just got the rock and mankind....stone cold is giving me a hardtime, I have looked for about 5 stores and still can't find one with a neat paint job....thats the weakness of this line, the paint job sucks sometimes.
