I rarely buy anymore and hardly even have any wrestling figs anymore, trying to just stick to top wants/favs that look good. Giant G, proto looked much better, looks like hes in a giraffes costume now. I know little kids who could paint me a better one. Sid has no knee pads, doesn’t have the chest hair which really throws him off and Vince is a maybe....or not. Is that an E logo? I dunno. Jakks typical cheap work, which they should be embarrassed about this far into the line with this kinda price tag, is such a turn off. Should be 7 bucks tops. But you can say that over and over again, its Jakks and to be expected. I'm done looking forward to anything outta them. More often than not it’s a continual disappointment. Part of me just wants to get rid of the few I have and never look back at this line. I'm tired of all this, especially when there is so many other fig lines out there leagues, leaps and bounds better at cheaper or similar prices. Should just keep spending on those instead of what Jakks spews out. Whats the point, I'll just stick to my old vhs tapes for wrestling stuff, I dont need these. That's not a Jakks screw-up. WWE most likely made them do that. Correct. WWE no longer use any WWF logo. Everything is a WWE logo. Actually, WWE can use the WWF block logo, which is why you never see it blurred and why it still today appears on NEW merchandise such as books and title belts.

What an absolute shame. I used to be one of these guys who would pretty much get one of each figure regardless of the how it turned out, but F*%$ it I'm done.
The way Giant Gonzalez turned out really did it for me, although Sid looks pretty bad as well. What really gets me tho is that with Gonzalez at least the proto actually looked bad-ass and IMO might of actually be one of the best figures EVER made. I'm gonna go out say that to me and I'm sure many others that it's a BIG slap in the face to SHOW what a company CAN do by the company in a proto, gets everyones hopes up while restoring faith in the company and THEN release some low quality sub-par version that WE the customer CANNOT own. What's the point?
Jakks shows us what they can do, and then they release something else ....blah....You guys "Jakks" only make yourselves look foolish when you do something like that and piss people off. If you don't feel that you can release the version your marketing don't show it in the first place, and i don't wanna hear some crap about cost restraints or what have you, BS. I realize it's only some toy, but it's the principle behind the matter that you could apply to any situation that irks me. Take it for what you will, but my buying of your products will substantially decrease.

Why is X Pac even in this.? He's not a legend, hes a drug addict. says the guy with the Jeff Hardy signature. Its not like im not a fan of X-Pac its just he shouldnt be in a classic series set. Because he's not legaendary or anything.

Geez, that Sid sucks. My god, it just looks terrible and the absence of kneepads certainly doesn't help either. The rest of the set is good I guess, but I hate the way they spelled "Gonzales". It's GONZALEZ, not Gonzales. I thought it was always spelled with a "Z" on the end. Oh well. Hopefully they can fix it up and re-release him with the correct spelling.

Sid looks too skinny, or not muscular enough, and the scan sucks. Damn, I was actually looking forward to a CS Sid.....not anymore.

This set is a bit of a let down.
I'll grade each figure as I see it A through F, Then Ill give em a Shelf warmer (SW) rating with 5 being easy to find and 1 being hard to find.
Vince: Looks goofy, but I guess he was back in the day. Figure: B SW Rating: 2 - Need to keep an eye out, Its Vince after all.
Giant Gonzales: A major let down, from the proto we saw, Looks like a bad custom. Figure: D SW rating: 3 - Bad figure, but its his first and could be his only!
Powers Of Pain: Awesome figures and by far the stand outs of the set. Should have been in CSTT 7. Figures: both A SW ratings: 2 - I would have said 1, but the Nasty boyz put me off. Again should be hard to get.
LJN HBK: I dont rate these figures at all, they were a cool idea, but they just dont do it for me. figure: C as far a Jakks LJN go SW rating: 2 - as with all LJN's they are going to be hard to find.
SID: I dont think this figure is as bad as what everyone makes out. Scan is a little off. figure: B- SW rating: 3 - I dont think you are going to have to much trouble finding SID.
Ultimate Warrior : If there is one figure Jakks gets right, it the Ultimate Warrior. There is yet to be a bad one. figure: A- (Its plain, but we knew a pre 90's one was due) SW rating : 2 - face it Warrior sells and this one will be no different
X-Pac : Another stand out figure. Scan is good and with go well with other CS DX we have (RSC) figure : A- SW rating : 3, its still X-pac and no one likes x-pac.
Overall, I would rate CS 16 at B-. POP are the best figures and really are the only must haves IMO. LJN HBK is what it is. Vince, Warrior and X-pac at good figures. SID isnt that bad as what people are saying, I think they were expecting to much. GG, is the let down of the set, I understand that it would cost more to have decent paint job, but Jakks dropped the ball on this figure.
I will add them all to my ever growing CS collection!

Vince: Off head sculpt, but it resembles him. I like his attire. Gonzales: Surprise surprise, they ed him up. False advertising yet again. Barbarian: Definitely a good figure. BCA accessory is better than a random tag belt. Warlord: See Barbarian. HBK: Pose looks different. I like it. I bet if it was an RA figure it wouldn't have outlines. Sid: How...how can you screw up someone as simple as Sid? His head is hideous, that old TTL vest looks like crapon all RA figures - especially this one, and he doesn't have kneepads. At least he has an arm pad...I guess that ate up all their funding for freakin' kneepads. I hate this company sometimes. Warrior: He looks great for the era. I'm glad they're using his first head sculpt again. Good part choices. X-Pac: Dammit, they changed his torso. The only plus to this torso is that it's smaller. The Mr. Perfect torso looked a lot like his singlet. Why couldn't they use the skinny arms? Makes no sense at all. I really don't understand Jakks. The detail looks very good. I like the tall kickers on him, too. He doesn't have his tattoo. Old TTL head. I think I'll pass. Pretty lackluster.

Pretty disappointing. Powers of Pain and Ultimate Warrior turned out the best, in my opinion. X-Pac torso change is unfortunate, but not as bad as (what looks to be) bigger arms. Vince is another favorite of mine, and when I finally purchase RA28 Vince, both will look great as an evolution of sorts. HBK I really don't care for all that much, but the biggest letdowns are obviously Sid and Gonzalez. Gonzalez isn't too bad, as the head sculpt is decent, but the proto (minus them using a cloth bodysuit) was about as good as it was going to get. Sid's sculpt definetly looks worse than the proto; hopefully, this figure will shelfwarm for a while as I'm not looking to pay $11.99 for that final product. Overall, this is one of the most-disappointing and lackluster CS sets ever released; let's all hope Jakks pulls it together before CS17.

Vince looks awful in my opinion. Not much resemblance at all. Giant Gonzalez has taken a step backwards. Its paint job looks very simplified which is a negative. The LJN HBK looks good but i'd never buy it. SID looks awful, the painted elbow pad and lack of knee pads adds to this. The X-Pac is fine although i think it is too soon to see one of his figs.

Vince: He looks kind of googy in his facial expression, but maybe it is just the way the head is angled. Gladd they gave him the logo on the jacket. Too bad it isn't WWF though...
Gonzalez: The paint job doesn't look as great as the paint job on the proto, but I wasn't exprecting it. Looks like this will be the more sought after figure of the set. I was hoping Jakks would've given him an urn as an accessory, but the ring bell is fine.
The Barbarian: Solid figure, weird accessory choice. But I suppose had Jakks given him a chair people would've complained. Would've like a different accessory than an ax or chair though.
The Warlord: See Barbarian.
Shawn Michaels: Even with the protos, I never liked this figure's stance. I like the attire Jakks choose, but they could've done better in terms of stance. Love the blue carding!!!
Sycho Sid: The curse of the Chinese New Year is probably what most people will say about Sid sans knee pads. Jakks kind of mixed time frames here. They gave Sid a late-80's/early-90's head scan and a mid-to-late 90's vest. I hate that he doesn't have his tall boots.
The Ultimate Warrior: This is the best figure of the set. Very nicely commemorates his SummerSlam '88 32 second win over the Honky Tonk Man for the Intercontinental title. I'd say this figure is great but I wish Jakks would've given him darker hair to match the time period.
X-Pac: Surprisingly this figure came out better than I expected! Maybe it won't be too big of a shelf warmer like is CS 11 counterpart. I hate the larger arm mold on him as it makes him look funny. The European title is a nice touch.
Overall:
Not bad set, but not an awesome set like most people were predicting. Vince, Warlord, Giant, Barbarian, and Warrior will probably be the more sought after ones among collectors.

What a load of SH IT! Gonzalez was the only decent figure planned for the series and they totally messed it up! What's up with his chin?!! What happenned to "flocked fur" that they talked about in the chat?!! CS used to have more to them than RAs, they had better accessories, entrance attire etc, but now they are no more substantial than RAs, they should be the same price or be of a higher quality. Jakks knew they could minimise everything in this series, no entrance attire, no cloth accessories, no detail, no knee pads. I blame the idiots on this site that went on and on about seeing the protos everyday, combined with the fact that it's Christmas I think Jakks knew they could mess up this series and it would still sell, I'm glad there were no figures I was really looking forward to in CS16 (apart from Barbarian and Warlord if they were in singles attire) because it SUCKS!! THE WORST CS SERIES EVER!!!
