No wrapping/protection for it? They just threw it in a box? Wow ..... They should have even told you who it was. Was there even "nice" little note in there with it? Nope its was actually a padded envelope, with just the bubble wrap I showed you in the first pic. |

I had a feeling it would be a prototype of someone who was already released before. I thought it was going to be the original CS 14 Backlund proto...I don't know why some people were saying it was going to be Juventud or Owen Hart, lol.
Still, pretty sweet.

That's actually really cool. Seriously guys, they could have sent him an unpainted John Cena with his limbs detached. This figure has an unreleased (albeit similar) head.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if this figure is a prototype for CSDA3, I know they said it was an "unreleased" prototype but that doesn't mean it won't be released in future. It would make sense that CSDA3 protos would have been done by now and they were into the production stage which would make this Rude proto one of the most recent protos to have been used and finished with.

The face looks less rounded but it looks like the same photograph was used for the scan or maybe it's the same scan but resized for DA scale. I guess we will never know if that's the only photo we will ever see of it, it's been about an hour since the close up was coming in 10 minutes.

Prototypes are made for every stage of the design process so some will have no paint and some will be hand painted. it COULD have been a fully painted DA Eddie Guerrero and still people would've cried about it and said, "Oh, it's not THAT cool..I would've preferred a RA Juvi..."
Whatever. Point is, he has it, you don't. If YOU (haters) would've won, you would've been as excited for the sheer point that YOU WON. Don't rain on this guy's parade. I personally don't care for the head as it looks too similar to the CS one. but the fact that this is a Rude proto means: 1) it dispells (possibly) the so called CSDA 3 lineup and 2) we'll be getting a RICK F'N RUDE DA FIGURE!!

The make sense to me, I guess we will find out in the coming weeks.
As for the figure, congrats on your win, and its pretty cool to say you own a proto, reguardless of weather or not it is released at a later date.
I am now really excited to see the protos for CSDA 3. If Rude is indeed in it, then its shaping up to be a great set.
