One of my personal faves...
I believe that I read someplace about it being an 1800, but it seems to come up for sale an awful lot (and for moderate prices) for a limited edition fig for a superstar as popular as Ric Flair. Probably a 5000+, but unflattering packaging might hide the true worth of this one. Time will tell.
Another nugget, I also heard that this figure predates the CS line, which makes me wonder if it is a prototype in some way. I got mine loose (I plan to put it in CS packaging, where it belongs). Does anyone have a date on their MOC's?

I can remember it coming out sometime around when the blue robed Flair, or at least around the time we started seeing the proto of that series (CS9?).

Also, I don't believe this was an RSC exclusive. I got mine from ACG when it first came out for a cheaper price than what RSC was charging for them.

It was definitely after CS2. In fact I would say it was released around CS4. I remember everyone going crazy over it, and myself just thinking "why does he have red boots, and why is there cotton wool on his robe". Naturally I've realised how awesome it's looked since then. It would be good to switch RA20 or later black attired Flair's boots with this because then the attire (even though it is accurate), would look better.

When looking at the back of the package on my IE Flair, I see that I was way off. CS series 1 are shown on the back, so it must have been around the time CS 2 was about to come out or something.

Yeah. They cost something like $10-20 shipped when they came out. I've got one MOC I've been trying to move, but haven't got any good prices. I don't know that it's in that big of demand. It's a cool figure though.

I believe if they put that Figure in CS Carding, it would be worth double what it is.
Brilliant Figure it is.
