I've been thinking of quiting recently and the new price tag on CS and most likely DA have done it for me. Not to mention the fact that Jakks is losing their license, figures have a lot of loose joints and the lack of detail going into them. The day has come and I can't really say I'm sad about it, I'm actually happy because it will just mean more money for other things. I can't afford the prices anymore and figures just don't interest me as much as they once did. The last figures I will get are RA 33 Morrison & Carlito as well as the upcoming HBK/Orton two pack for the HBK alone. After that I see no use in continuing to collect. I was gonna get some of the figures in CS 18 but have decided not to with the new price tag.

thats sad to hear, but if you think they are expensive over there you should try being a collector overhere in scotland (uk), i pay what would be about 25 dollars for a classic sometimes less. maybe you should just collect the ones you really like thats what i do?.

But it works out the same anyway, price wise. I pay approx $22 dollars for a CS figure, but because our economy etc. is different, and wages are different, and things cost different, it works out about the same anyway (unless you order on ebay from other countries of course). Anyway.. Welcome to my world. CS18 Kane will be the headstone on my collection.

Geez... a classic figure from Toys R Us in Singapore cost US$18.80 (S$27) and they didnt even bring in anything beyond series 12. Specialty shops charge US$21 (S$30) or so... and that's the cheapest! And u guys are complaining...

i`ve noticed that buying CS by the set is still a good deal, I don`t think prices affected the ebay market for sets of CS, and if so my dealer has raised his prices.

I dont understand why people feel the need to make a thread everytime they are finished with collecting. I mean no offense to you, its not just you but if you're done then you're done. Delete yourself (if you choose not to come back) and leave.

I understand you. But with less than 2 years left for CS I will go all the way then I will stop.

I feel the same way, I only collect BNB now as I don't buy DA. Last RA I buy is looking to be Classic 2003 Hollywood Rock.

If you like wrestling figures, you don't have to STOP collecting just because prices go up. Just be more selective, that's all. There's no reason, if you see a figure that you REALLY want, to deny yourself if getting it. Just choose more carefully, that's all.

I'll probably wind up cutting back on what I buy. RA 32 I plan on getting nobody. RA 33 I might just get Rey. DA 13 I'll just get SCSA, Maybe Triple H to but probably not. AD 29 I'll just get Cody & Dusty. CS 18 maybe I'll get Kane as I always liked Kane. WM 24 Series 2 I might get Batista & Undertaker if they turn out good. From the 2 packs I'll get HBK & Orton along with Hardy & Kennedy depending on how they turn out.

Delete yourself (if you choose not to come back) and leave. Yeah, it makes you just want to post 'Who cares?' but y'know, what you said is the best advise - there's no need to bring attention to yourself.

Delete yourself (if you choose not to come back) and leave. i agree totally, i see these types of posts every now & again & i really don't see why people make it out to be such a grand revelation, like they need to in-depth list their reasons as a final hoorah or some s**t like anyone cares. just don't post anymore, the world will keep on spinning & no one will even notice.

People post threads like this all the time; I've done it myself. But I guarantee you'll be in WalMart next week and you'll say: "Damn, that's a cool figure!" And be back collecting.
