5 years ago today or yesterday ( i dont remeber which), John Cena made his debut in the wwe wrestling Kurt Angle on Smackdown!.. Most of you do not like John Cena, personally I think he is a throw-back to the old school champion (Hogan) where he takes a beating and then some how becomes superman and wins the match. People here don't remember that everyone here loved Cena right until he won the title from JBL (whom they also hated). The first part of his title reign everyone loved him. Then they hated him b/c he was a face.

How very true, too many bandwagon jumpers. when you think about it, he is the same as hulk, and stonce cold. limited move sets's couple of catchphrases, and as well as austin, over cam every odds every ppv. craaaazy world WORD LIFE! |

I can't believe 2002 was five whole years ago. No matter what people say about Cena, I look forward to another five years of him. Just not as WWE Champion ;[

John Cena is one of the best that WWE has and I hope he stays in the business for a long time to come. It's hard to believe that its already been 5 years. He has given us alot of good memories/matches and hopefully there will be many more to come.
Congrats on 5 years Cena. You truly define the saying "from the bottom to the top".

I loved his rapper gimmick when it first got started. He's rhymes about Brock, awesome stuff, then he got over and the WWE watered him down and made his character lame  |

Only 5 Years and he has headlined every PPV from WM21-Vengeance 2007 (RAW PPV's), he has had 3 title reigns, He has passed Bret with Longest Title Reign.
Jesus, we will see this guy for another 10 years, unless he goes into movies.
