Yep. Simple question. I was thinking about getting the ECW replica title, and this is the picture that's shown on Shopzone: My question is for anyone that has this belt: Is the ECW logo at the top purple as shown in the picture, or is it red like the belt that is used on TV? I've also seen a picture on ebay where it was black. So which color is it? I'd like to have a replica of the version used currently on TV. Thanks. You folks are beautiful. |

Well, I can only go from the ECW replica belt that I've got. I happen to have the 1st "Taz" version of the ECW replica belt where it's basically black & orange through-out the belt. The ECW letters at the top are black and where it says "Heavyweight champion" is orange and the backing of the belt is a dingey orange as well. The reason I call it the "Taz" version is because it has Taz' name in black on the center plate on the right and left side. You can barely make it out on the belt above, but it's there. It's where there appears to be an "X" beside the word "Heavyweight". Here's a pic:  |

Yea, the Taz version was only released in the first shipment back in '99-'00, I believe. Since then, it's been the regular blue globe, purple logo version you posted with the WWEShop picture. The one you will get is the one you posted, unless you get the Taz version on eBay. The version that's currently on ECW (red logo, black painted) is not on sale.

I frikkin Knew it said Tazz on the belt!! It still does... My friend bought one this year.. Why dont they get rid of it?

Okay, one more simple question: does the Shopzone version of the belt have a light brown back like when Heyman first gave RVD the title on ECW last year or does it have a normal black back to it like every other non-Smoking Skull belt?

he wants to know if he buys the ECW belt from shopzone if it will have an orange back to it or a black back to it.
To my knowledge they have NOT updated the replica belts since WWE began distributing them and that is why the belt still says ECW in purple and I believe that the back IS still orange.

WWE alter their belts pics to make them look more distinguished or whatever.
look at the IC belt. the centre plate has a black WWE logo, but the real belt has a white wwe logo...
also.. dont buy off wwe shop, ive heard they are terrible when it comes to shipping the belts in good condition. i have heard great things about ajsbelts.com... cheaper too i believe
