Hey guys, I just thought I'd propose this idea I just came up with. In the Entertainment Hub, there is this idea floating around about starting a DVD Club, and indeed we already ran one last year. The premise is this: There are a set number of members (either five or ten or whatever), and there is a drawing that determines the order that these members are placed in. This order determines who selects which event or DVD we will watch for that week. The rest of the members all have a week or so to watch the event or DVD that is chosen by that weeks members, and those members write a review of the event and then grade it on an overall scale of 1-10. After all of the members have submitted their reviews, or a week has passed, the average grade of the event is calculated and posted, and we then move on to the next persons selection for the next week. All of the information would be kept in ONE post as well.
I think this would be pretty fun, and we wouldn't have to pull a Scott Keith and transcribe the matches move by move. We could just each lay our thoughts out on the individual matches and angles presented on the show or DVD. Also, anyone could participate in this, but only the number of selected members rating will count towards the average rating of the show. DO you guys think this would be a cool idea? If so, we should start it on up.
