Martel dropped dead while drinking coffee on her front porch with her mother, according to Sherri’s sister Vickie. Her sister speculated that Martel was taking something for her heart, but when asked if it was steroids, she had no comment. This refutes reports that her husband found Martel.
Karle was told that toxicology and autopsy reports may not be released for another five to six months.
Karle noted that Martel was buried today.

5 to 6 months is unusually long time for results.

That seems way too long for results... probably a lot of pain killers or booze or both.

We really need to get the toxicology reports back on this one. Sherry was a great personality but she had some "habits" that made her a less than savory human being at times. Much like my stance on the Benoit situation, since I am now out of the business, I choose to remember these people for what I know them as, professionals. I try to not let their home situations destroy the memories that I have.

Why would her husband lie? Or maybe her sister is lying.
Why would Sherri take steroids?

Why is Sherri's death just now getting media attention after two weeks? Because Benot did what he did. I was watching Geraldo last night what a piece of crap he is. He basically said WWE should be shut down and investigated because of the recent death's of Benoit and Sherri and all the steroid use going around. He said that Sherri's death was "definitely" caused by steroids and drugs, yet the toxicology reports haven't come in yet. Sherri has been out of the WWE/WCW for a number of years. I wish the media would get their crap together and get their facts straight before they report on things that they have no knowledge of!!!

I wish the media would get their crap together and get their facts straight before they report on things that they have no knowledge of!!! That's not quite what he said about Sherri's passing. He said the police said it wasn't because of natural causes nor did they believe it was foul play. So he said something like if it wasn't natural causes or foul play then it must have been some sort of substance abuse...Which would make sense. But it's no different then all these talk show "reporters" saying that Chris was shooting his son up with growth hormones. There was no proof of that. Aren't the wrestlers in the WWE on the road for something like 300 + days a year? So I'm not saying it was as I wasn't there, but it could very well have been Nancy shooting him up. We'll never know for sure, but everything they are reporting about that is pretty much speculation.
