I know, I loved the rapper version of John Cena, he was hillarious. But I'm pretty sure they aren't giving him that gimmick back. So the reasonable thing to do is to mlet him be funny! There was a time where John Cena didnt have his rapper gimick on RAW, but he was still hillarious. But now, it seems that they have tamed him down because of the little kids watching. He was loved when he was funny in every promo, not just a few funny line, as it is now. Like the time on RAW where he wants to see what the wrestlers thought of Kurt Angle. Hillarious. The crowd loved it the entire time. So the raps don't cure everything, but humor is likeable. So the most reasonable thing to do bassicly.......is to let him talk about inapropriate things like he used to. Him and Lita had chemistry. She would look so mad, after he would crack a ho joke.
Now I'm not saying he isnt funny now, but I'm saying they need to let him be more funny, and less of a "Determined Tough-guy Champ", because the causes him to have similar promos.

I'm sorry, but in some of his promos now, he seems to try his hardest to be funny, but it backfires in his face and he ends up looking like an idiot and sounding like a tool.

Have to agree. I loved Cena then and I love him now but I wish he'd go back to his old gimmick. Even if not the rapper, like you said, give him the funny gimmick. Naturally, he seems like a hilarious person and he has the capability of mocking his opponents in a funny way. Considering how much he gets boo'ed nowadays, the WWE should let him go all out to get a few more fans on his side.

Yea i loved Cena in 2003.... He was so cool and funny and I was watchin the Undertaker DVD, and him and Taker had the best build-up for their match at Vengeance... It showed highlights of Cena bein a douche to everyone, then showed backstage stuff *Undertaker shakes Orlando Jordans hand then Cena comes* "Taker we had somethin like that way back, but u left me hangin in the dust! But you dont want none of me Takah U cant see me! ya heard?" *Cena walks off* Taker-"Everyones got to learn the hard way" *Then shows clips of their rivalry.. with that awesome music in the background*
Sry for posting that lol

One time on "Carlitos cabana" a bunch of guys like Edge kurt angle carlito bigshow and hbk came out. He did a pretty good rap where he pulled out a pinwheel and told them to blow him. "Hbk, I know theres no one better. But arent you a little 2 friendly wearing chaps chains and leather" good stuff

If he dropped the WWE Title, I'd like him a lot more.
Thus, I probably won't be liking him a lot more until 2020.

I think when he first came to RAW it was awesome because we was getting fresh fueds, fresh mic work, but then now he's got noone new or fresh & just does the same promo over & over agian. I am a Cena mark & even still like him I just think that the whole "beats the odds" is getting old.
