yea i was watching ladder match dvd,and on the 2nd tlc match,they blurred more than other wwf matches,they were blurring the wrestliers and everything,u couldnt even watch the macth

They changed Undertaker's WM17 theme differently in every DVD. I think the Tombstone has the ministry theme, and the WM17 anthology disc has some production theme. You go that in the opposite. The Undertaker has his Ministry theme on WrestleMania X-Seven (Anthology version) and some cheap sounding song (Tombstone). Music editing is the worst. Especially when they change it to **** theme and you can actually hear the good theme slightly in the background. One good example is the Twin Towers theme at WrestleMania V. On the Anthology, you can still hear Jive Soul Bro is the background. |

The themes bug me, but not as much as the Blurring of the "F" in the logos. Man that is the biggest annoyance ever. If you purchase any of the Anthology disks for example, and you have to watch an entire ppv with that crap. I simply refuse to watch those. I can handle a match or so but having to go through an entire ppv that way is a pain.

the one the peves me off the most even thoe its not the "E"s falt is the ONS1 Sandman entrance the best ever but theres legal stuff to all these things thats why they do it.

they do it because the bands (like limp biscuit) are barely even heard of these days. pretty bad excuse.

Yea i agree..kinda takes away from the clips. I dont get why they need to do it. I guess its all down to legal stuff. But its really stupid.

Pay for the rights of independant music from musicians and producers (thats what i do for a living)... i write music for companys, currently for a promotion in the north-east of england. The reason why they use 'drowning pool' or 'limp biscuit' tracks are because their record companys pay WWE a nice amount of cash (to promote the band/single). A way for vince to earn a few bucks... without thinking long term. give it 50 years vince, and then copyrighted music/material legally becomes free tender... anyone can use it as the copyright mark expires... (wouldnt suprise me if he was still alive, trying to make dollars, anyway he can.. :  |

Just a quick point of interest...........
The early SILVER VISION UK dvds eg- Wrestlemania 1-VIII, Surviver Series, Summer Slam and Royal Rumble all come unedited with WWF logos and original entrance themes. The quality is still quite good. It's more authentic than some of the edits being mentioned above......

Someone mentioned the Sandman entrance from ONS1. You think the edit of that music is bad? Buy the extreme rules DVD that has that same match. Instead of keeping the ripoff enter sandman theme that they replaced with the DVD release of ONS, they edited his NEW theme over top of the rip off one. It's so badly done that the crowd edits that they did have an old looped "E-C-DUB" and you can tell no one is even saying that. Terrible!

Always tape everything because it will eventually be edited. I taped the Chris Benoit memorial show because I had a feeling it would be deleted from archives down the line.
