From what I've heard the PPV is basicially a 10 dollar infomercial for ROH. I'll pass You get like four great matches and some developing storylines. Its hardly an infomercial. Four great matches with a bunch of people I've barely heard of. Unless they're really good at establishing their characters in this two hour program, I don't know how I'll enjoy it.

Im sure they do establish the heel/face role just fine. If you can get into a movie that is only 90 minutes long, I fail to see how 2 hours will be too little time to establish anything. Im in no way a huge ROH fan but when ROH is brought up you have to understand its about the wrestling aspect. The part that is considered the "sport"
This is why I dont think many WWE fans will enjoy this. Some WWE fgans may claim to enjoy the wrestling aspect but then when they are asked to watch another feds match they say "no fuk that i dunno them, the suk, there skinny!" It pretty much proves they watch WWE for its production value, which is fine. They should just admit that.

before I ever seen a ROH show I thought it would suck. So when i found out it was coming to my town. the show was Dragon gate challenge. It was the best show I have ever seen.
If anyone came up to me with that dvd and wm23 dvd and said I would sell you this roh dvd for 5 bucks or you can have wm23 for free. i would pick the roh dvd
I would order this PPV but cant get ppv's at my house.

I've been to ROH shows and I've watched a couple of their DVDs it's ok but I still prefer WWE, ROH is like the reincarnation of ECW imo. Yeah it's more of a reincarnation than the crap that's on Sci-fi network these days.

If you enjoy professional wrestling or sports entertainment this is a show you are required to view in order to call yourself a fan of the pro wrestling and sports entertainment genre's. I attended this show back on May 12, 2007 in NYC's Manhattan Center.
The WWE taped Monday Night Raw from that same building in 1993 and parts of 1994. With the recent trend of inappropriate storylines and tragic deaths in wrestling, namely from WWE if you want to find out and remember what you love about wrestling you will see want to order this show.
A WWE PPV is $39.95, 99.99999% of the time that's a complete ripoff. This is $9.95 for two hours of great wrestling matches. If you don't know the wrestlers on the show do yourself a favor and order it anyway. You won't regret watching the best wrestlers on the planet impress you for two hours. ROH is going to go off the air 35 minutes before the hour like WWE. They'll run right up to the deadline at 57:38 past the hour.
There's no roided up, slow moving, botchfests. There is however, hard hitting, believable action, with a destructive World Champion who knows how to wrestle. There's technical wrestling, high spots, comedy, and great promos.
Ring of Honor is the #1 wrestling promotion in the World. Do they make the most money? Nope, they are however doing something that TNA isn't doing and that's making a profit. They are the #2 financially ranked wrestling promotion behind WWE.
If you loved the real ECW and not WWECW, then this show is for you. If you loved the attitude era, this show is for you. If you loved the Monday Night Wars, this show is for you. If you call youself a fan of pro wrestling or sports entertainment, this show is for you. Don't call yourself a true wrestling fan if you ignore quality professional wrestling, done right.

They do a decent job of trying to get across what each guy is about. Plus, its only $10, so even if you weren't diggin' it to much, you at least didn't spend a lot on it.

I like WWE. It entertains me. I looked up some ROH on youtube for about a hour and a half on YouTube today and I didn't think it was that bad. So from now on I can at least say I've watched it before.

I will be ordering it for sure. I've been to at least a dozen ROH shows & they are all fantastic. I've also been to a ton of WWE shows & I enjoy each of them for seperate reasons. Besides that, CM Punk, everyones favorite straight-edge superstar pretty much got his start there.

OK, you're really starting to piss me off. If you reply to this I'm gonna guess it will segway into a commercial for ROH.

Poor quality video clips upped to a streaming site is not the way to judge anything other then a music video of clips. Now if you were to watch ROH on ROHvideos.com then that would be a different story. See, no commercial for ROH. The bottom line is don't be so offended when you get the right advice, heed that advice.

It sucks that I can't order PPV. If it's put on dvd, I'll definitely get it. Unless it already is? I've been impressed with Morishima ever since I saw him wrestle Joe at Fifth Year Festival. I definitely don't regret checking out Ring of Honor, it's a near-flawless promotion.

WrestleMania is pretty much the only thing wrestling-related that I'll pay for. If ROH was on free TV maybe I'd watch it, but I can't justify spending money on wrestling tapes and random two hour shows.
