You know through all this hooplah about how wrestlers are savages and inhuman, I thought I'd bring up a story that is seldom talked about in wrestling. I like to post this story every once and a while to put some perspective on things, sometimes we all get to wrapped up in this business call ed wrestling and we lose sight of the important things in life.
"In April of 2004 Perry Saturn was driving his girlfriend to work when he heard what he thought was an argument next to a vehicle. When he approached the vehicle, he saw two men trying to restrain a woman as they were raping her. Without hesitation, he grabbed both men off her, and started fighting with them. As he was able to get the woman free from her attackers, he felt a burning sensation in his neck. He thought originally it was a cut stemming from a punch. However, he learned soonafter he was shot three times in the neck with a 25 caliber handgun.
Since then, Satullo has continued to make appearances on the independent circuit but has gone into partial retirement due to the severity of his neck injury"

I still don't know how someone could get shot three times in the neck and not realize it. I guess if the gun was silenced and Saturn was on drugs and/or riding an intense adrenaline high then three bullet holes in you might go unnoticed, but still...
A shame Saturn's talent went to waste.

Saturn was an exceptional wrestler; for proof of that check out his flawless performance on Barely Legal. He was also an Airborne Ranger, if I'm not mistaken, so that's probably where he picked up his ethics.

beniot saturn eddy and malenko were the absolute biggest gain for wwe as far as wrestlers go at the time only comparable was jericho but the four of them together was an amazing gain and malenko who retired shortly after and saturn who was demoted to wwe "bitch" will never get the wrestling credit they deserve.
