Most stores around me are carrying all the recent PPVs with him on it (No Way Out, WrestleMania, Backlash, Judgment Day), the new Horseman DVD with him on it, the ladder match DVD, and everything.
Weird that they're taking them out near you, though.

So does that mean WMXX will have Angle/Eddie mainevent now? Nah man my mate recently got it on sale and they changed the main event to an old Shawn Michaels/HHH match. They seriously took Benoit's match off the DVD?! And replaced it with something else?! This is just getting stupid now. I was wondering why they didn't have any Backlash dvds today at Wal-Mart, then I remembered Benoit was on the back of them. I just got Judgment Day today, have yet to watch it to see if they edited anything with Benoit though. - Vertan |

Thats bull. We arent allowed to forget the bad he did, but we are being forced to forget the good? Stupid. On WWE 24/7 they took his match of WM23. I feel awful for MVP. The matches that got him over as a heel and talented wrestler and pretty much made him, will be forgotten. Thats  ing ridiculous. |

Surprisingly,he's still in the US title section of wwe.com completely different on smackdown this week. Cole said in MVP VS Hardy that MVP won the title at Judgement Day.... but who did he beat? CHRIS F*CKING BENOIT!!! NOT ONE DAMN MENTION OF HIM. CAN'T THEY JUST ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HE IS A PART OF THEIR HISTORY AND NOT EDIT IT OUT. WHAT IS WMXX DVD GONNA LOOK LIKE? HHH IN A CROSSFACE BEING DONE BY NOBODY!! sorry but this is really too f*cking far. |

Ok i dont believe the wrestlemania xx thing as those dvds were produced a long time ago they didnt just go press new ones after he did this stuff. I see how they could do that on wrestlemania 23 on 24/7 but im doubting it is being done on anything else i have judgement day and it is fine they wont change that yes it might get pulled but it wont get changed. Also he isnt being completely erased by any means he is on the current monday night wars that is up on 24/7 and that went up after this so im doubting they will edit him out of the shows it just they wont make any mention of him on current tv and things like that.

Guys, they didn't change it to another match, they changed the description so Benoit's name wasn't mentioned. They did it for all the dvds on the site. If I'm wrong and they really did edit or change the match, please correct me.

Remove his merchandise on WWE's site. Understandable. Cease mentioning his name for the time being. Understandable. Recalling items with him on it briefly and/or erasing history? Not a good idea. If anything, it's robbing the fans of some of the best matches in the history of wrestling. This whole situation bugs me because I know we'll never see a Benoit match on any future dvd release ever again. If they ever do a Legacy of WCW dvd or something of that nature, Benoit will most likely not even be mentioned. So why should a murderer be remembered? Well, because he put forth some outstanding matches. It's for the FANS, not for him. He gave that up when he did what he did. At the very least, removing him for already released items and trying to alter history is absurd.

Did anyone notice that the Wrestlemania Ring Rope plaque is still available and it features Benoit's autograph? Do you think they are re-doing the autographs again and omiting his image/autogaph all together?

too bad the jericho vs benoit match was the best match on the dvd. i still think it is one of the top ladder matches in history.

For who those who who are saying that it's not possible for WWE to erase Benoit completely. Benoit was on a show once maybe twice every event. Meanwhile the old WWF logo was on every card and every square inch of every arena they wrestled in for years. They erased the WWF logo I'm pretty sure they can erase one wrestler. I just hope they don't blur him..
