I hope they release future anthologies like they did the Wrestlemania one. In individual sets. I have all of the Summerslams released on DVD so I would only have to get the earlier ones. Survivor series is a different story though as I don't have but three of them on DVD.

Id laugh so ing hard if they edited out his name in the announcing, and blurred him in matches.

I personally do not think WWE would erase all Benoit matches from DVDs, although they will probably never show any footage on WWE 24/7.
At the end of the day the fans viewing the matches have the right to skip his matches which is fair enough.

Short answer: Yes. He's been on only five Summerslams: 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005. I own all of the originals of these, so editing him out on the Anthology doesn't matter. Same with Survivor Series: 2000, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006. I own all of the originals for those as well.

I'm not too sure if I'd buy them or not. Have to wait & see if it ends up being edited or not.

I don't know if I will get those box sets, even if they do edit his matches. The problem with me would be the price. Those box sets are expensive. Maybe they won't release those sets anytime soon, since it'll be a lot of crazy editing.

a little bit off topic but wouldnt the 2001 survivor series be a bit of a bitch to edit as it features the word team WWF almost through out.I just hope they dont put that stupid gun shot sound effect over the top of it like they did in the wrestlemania X8 anthology DVD,other wise every 2 minutes its gonna be "team WW*bang*".

If they came in sets yes I would because I would go after ones before 2000 and then the ones after 2000, I would buy the original DVDs

I still don't get why WWE would even do it. No money is going to Benoit. Benoit isn't buying the sets. Benoit should have nothing to do with this. These sets are for the FANS.
Bottom line is anybody who has a WWE DVD within the last 6 years most likely has a Benoit match on DVD. If some fans don't want to watch it, let them fast-forward through it. The fans who DO want to see it, however, shouldn't be deprived of some of the best matches in the last decade.

WWE Anthologies are a waste. Heck, PPV DVDs are pretty much a waste IMO. Unless it's a really good card( rare), I don't like watching them over and over, and if I wanted to I could just see it online.

Probably would. I would get them for collection purposes and of course probably to see the ones I probably missed if I did.

Nope, I won't buy it if Benoit is edited out...but I probably wouldn't buy it if they didn't either.
