Ok,i think that Kane should beat Edge for the WHC at the Great American Bash then feud with him and a few other people for a few months until 'Taker gets back then the two of them should feud and finally meet at Wrestlemania where Taker wins but is "struck" by a bolt of lightning, thus allowing him to retire.
thoughts?
p.s. this is in no way a spoiler and is merely my own opinion.

Holding it from July til April is ridiculous. Even if it is Kane. But, I guess with Cena's reign, anything's possible.

We've seen Taker vs. Kane a trillion times already, and Taker is not retiring at Wrestlemania 24.

Only if two things follow the lightning bolt.
1. Dusty Rhodes comes out and says "Livin' on tha edge of a lightnin' bolt." and 2. A video for Taker is played after his retirement is announced, and AC/DC's "Thunderstruck" is played in the video.
