Dibiase sorta held the world title, but yeah he got jipped still. I think Owen would've been world champ by now if he was around, he was a fantastic wrestler and put in many years with the WWE, I think it was only a matter of time before he made the step up to greatness but sadly it never could happen

I have to say Owen Hart and no it's not because he died. Owen was just as good as Bret was and had that natural heel charisma. The guys should of been main eventing back in 1996. For the record when I first got into wrestling I actually liked Owen more than Bret. He was always a favorite of mine and while the WWE was low on stars in 1996 he should of been right up there with the top guys.

Ted Debiase has won the World Title before. no he hasn't I was live in attendance that night and what happened was Andre the Giant beat Hulk Hogan screw job style and then Andre forfeited the title to Ted. Jack Tunney then later ruled that the WWF would not recognize the forfeit to DiBiase and made the World Title Vacant setting up the World Title Tournament at Wrestlemania IV

Lex Luger in the mid-90's should of got an awesom reign as champ. Should of won the belt at Wrestlemania X off Yoko to be honest. Hart could of waited till the next Mania and forget about the Hogan rubbish.
Also, I couldn't agree more with Ted Dibiase. Should of totally won.

piper is number one, without a doubt.
also...hall, perfect, dibiase, arn anderson
and yeah owen hart didn't have the look of a champion, and it's not like he would've ever gotten a reign had he lived. and if he did, it wouldn't have been with WWF, that's for crapsure.

Owen had the momentum in 94 right after he won the king of the ring and his fued with Bret kick into high gear... If he had won that steel cage match at SummerSlam that year it would have actually made sense and could have worked... I will say this tho Owen was only over becuase of Bret. I don't think he could have stayed interesting in a feud with everyone else at the time.. but in his feud with Bret it would have made sense and could have been cool to have him win the title even if it had been for a month or so...
