I kinda am. He really doesn't serve a purpose other than to be squashed by their larger guys. I wish they would just let him be Nick Dinsmore.

I think the reason why they haven't released him is because they're afraid he'll bash the hell out of the company for making him do the mentally challenged gimmick. I could see him doing a huge rant in a media interview about his displeasure of playing Eugene.

Good jobber? Gives the heel more heat when kicking his innocent ass?

He has a load of talent, but WWE are too stupid to let him actually show it.

I'm sure eventually, the WWE writers will get their heads out of their asses and take Eugene off of television for a while, then bring him back as Nick Dinsmore(or another name) and let him be a normal wrestler.

He needs to have some sort of accident to know the intellectually- disabled person out of him.

Eugene is in inspiration to all the make a wish kids and mentally challenged kids which is why he is still around.

Honestly, I thought the gimmick sucked at first but after a bit I started to find it hilarious, and he has a lot of talent. They arent doing much with it now though. Id love to see him become Nick Dinsmore and maybe team up with Matt Striker.

I am pretty surprised that he's been kept around this long, and ya I'm pretty sure it is true that he came up with the idea himself, he does play it really well.

I thought for sure he was done after his drug incident a year or so ago.
I've been hoping since 2004 when he debuted that they'd just let him be Nick Dinsmore, but it appears as though that will never happen.
He's truly a victim of WWE's terrible creative ideas. The Eugene gimmick worked for a while, but no one cares anymore, and his talent is being wasted.

This isnt WWE creative's fault, Nick Dinsmore thought of the "Eugene" character.

I kinda am. He really doesn't serve a purpose other than to be squashed by their larger guys. I wish they would just let him be Nick Dinsmore. I'm not surprised they have kept him this long. Vince McMahon is in charge, he created the character so obviously he feels Eugene serves a purpose, even though many fans feel a lot of McMahon's decisions are pointless.

He was really big in 2004, but I think his time came to an end seriously when he was paired up as the babyface against Kurt Angle at Summerslam 2005. Then using him sinmply to get Vince McMahon slightly more over by shaving off Eugene's Head, and giving him this new Attire.
The Gimmick isn't even a gimmick anymore, just strange.
