This is the new issue with Rey on the front, I know not everyone buys these but they have some good reads in them and other stuff. Anyways here are some things I just found interesting/funny/good to know...
Interview with Johhny Nitro
Where did you get the idea to stuff your title belts halfway down your pants?
Mercury and I were joking around at Ohio Valley Wrestling. The point we wanted to get across was that everybody wanted what's inbetween our legs. At one point Big Show looked at us and said, "I think wearing the belts like that is disrespectful." But Cena was there and he said, "If it's disrespectful and you don't like it, then that means it's good."
I agree with Cena on that, plus I think it makes Nitro(made mnm) stand out more. Glad to hear Cena is kind of a lockeroom role model and knows what he is talking about.
Interview with Elijah Burke - Who by the way looks like a fairy from the 70's or something in his picture lol.
What's the 4-up?
Well, 4-up comes from Redd Foxx and other comedians back in the day. They'd say, "I'm going to give you 5 upside the head." Well, when you hit someone with your fist it's actually 4 upside your head.
Incase no one knew what the 4-up was...
Jeff Hardy - Cash for Questions
Regarding your dancing on the entrance ramp - is that a mild seizure or something?
It is a mild seizure. Actually I got it from Michael Hayes. I've modified it a bit to fit my style, but it was a freebirds thing. Michael Hayes used to do the wrist flick and hip motion before he'd tag his partner. Mine would be considered a littlre more contemporary, but it's rooted in the old-school Freebirds.
Finally, I've also wondered where that came from.
Now that the dust has settled, what if anything, do you have to say to Lita?
You're right, the stuff has settled down. We actually went to see her in a play she was doing in Atlanta, which was really cool. It was sort of a comedy mixed with horror and all these guys dressed like ghouls and demons. She's also been busy with her band and stuff. Honestly, I'd wish her nothing but the best right now.
Hmm, good to hear I guess. I hate cheaters, but I enjoy Lita/Amy Dumas. By "we" do you think he means Matt?
You Had To Be There with - Armando Estrada.
We were in Guatemala at a Central American hotel, and a bunch of us decided to kick back in the lounge. I had precured some very expensive cuban cigars, which I was passing around to everyone.
Kenny Dykstra strolls in just as we run out of fresh cigar. But happened to have a stogie that was about five months old, just completely rotten and terrible. So I gave it to him as a joke.
Kenny is smoking this foul piece of wood for about half an hour, just getting greener and greene. We're all laughing.
A few weeks later, Kenny comes up to me and says, "Hey those cigars you handed out were expensive, so I bought you one to pay you back."
He pulls out what looks to be a decent cigar, and I take it from him and light it. I should have known something was up. Thirty seconds later, the thing blows up in my face. I fell for the oldest trick in the book.
I gained new respect for Kenny, total classic there. Haha.
And last but not least...
All Hail Queen Burke!
