i remember when he left WWF and joined WCW, he had some sort of demonic gimmick. the first promo he did was him outside in the rain looking into a bedroom. He had a undertaker type hat, white face paint, and red contacts.
when he made his debut as that character, i remember he shooted the whole promo and scraped the gimmick live..
anyone know the name of his character?

The name of it was Seven, I believe. However, he spelled it Se7en if I am not mistaken.

" When Runnels left WWF he took some time off, patched up his differences with his father (the two had not spoken for years), and rejoined WCW, starring in several vignettes (in August 1999) as a strange, white face painted dream villain, Seven. After seeing several of the promos that aired for the Seven character, Turner Standards and Practices thought that people would mistake his gimmick for that of a child predator, so they dropped the gimmick before he even wrestled. When he actually debuted in the ring, he took the Seven suit off and cut a promo on stupid gimmicks, thus burying the gimmick on the spot."

I love how he verbally crushed the Goldust character and then went back to it like... eleven times.

The floating part was pretty cool though.

Didnt he only do that for a week or two then end it by saying he was tired of the farfetched characters. It was obvious it was a shot at the Undertaker which considering how successful he was/is its pretty stupid.

A poor-mans undertaker.
In his promo he seems to be burning bridges with wwf.

Gosh, Goldust has had so many runs everywhere. First WWF, then WCW, then back to WWF for the legendary Goldust stint, then back to WCW for this ridiculousness, then back to WWF/WWE in 2002 for comedic gold with Booker T, and back to WWE in 2006 for nothingness. And he almost even came back again to WWE in 2007.
Anything I'm forgetting? Did he ever wrestle in TNA?

That looks like an awesome character, his entrance was a little Undertaker-esque, though. Anyway, what was the point in all that floating and crap for him to make a fool out of himself and WCW in the ring minutes later? Why not just not have the character show up on TV at all or maybe have him stalking Superstars instead?
Pffft.
