WWE's ratings are going down, the Great American Bash has one of the worst cards in the history of wrestling, and look at the champions... RAW: John Cena (Has had the title 95% of the time since '05) ECW: John Morrison Smackdown: The Great Khali It's kind of sad where the only "good" match on the entire card is for the US Championship on WWE's worst brand. Don't call me a TNA mark either because their product, while improving the last month or so, isn't too good. Even though I enjoyed Victory Road. (To those who didn't see VR, I'd highly recommend watching this video)... But through all that, I believe only one man can save wrestling. And whatever company he goes to will benefit greatly... B²! Oh wait, I mean...

Jericho is an outstanding performer, but he does not now, and arguably never did, equal ratings.

Mainstream wrestling right now is the worst it's ever been. I just can't justify paying $30-$40 for a PPV with a bunch of filler matches. Not to mention there's way too many PPV's now of days. Thats why I'm glad theres promotions I can follow like ROH and JAPW. I know not everyone has the money to follow Indy's but the way I afford to is because I stopped buying the WWE and TNA PPV's and started spending money on the stuff that entertained me more. It feels like every year mainstream wrestling gets worse and worse. During WrestleMania time things were looking up for "the E" but then all the good talents got hurt. SummerSlam looks like it's gonna be ing awful and now I'm glad I didn't bother to get tickets. No HBK and no Taker. The only two guys I really care about seeing.

Look, I just this is probably WWE's toughest period as a company. Nobody expected the injury list to be as big as it is. I don't think the WWE's writers have ever had a Plan B, C, D...Z. Nobody expected Benoit to do what he did. It shook up the wrestling world and made wrestling in general look worse than it has in years. Nobody expected wrestlers like Chris Jericho, Trish Stratus, Lita, Big Show, or RVD to ever leave. Nobody expected an injury list to compromise mostly of big names in The Undertaker, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, Rey Mysterio, Edge, etc.
It's a rough and dark time to be a wrestling fan right now. I agree TNA isn't much better. They grab all these guys that WWE basically discarded one way or another and think they have something. Kurt Angle and Sting never made the splash that they were supposed to. Christian Cage would still be in midcard in the WWE had he never left, yet he's supposed to be believable as a bonafide main eventer in a competing company with the WWE.
Honestly, I'm hoping things get better and I keep watching because that's what I've been doing since watching Wrestlemania V when I was a little kid. Let's face it, we've seen the same exact product over the years. Wrestling has become it's repetitive self and it's fans don't have the patience that it used to...

i miss ECW for one night and i think i missed soemthing big.
EDIT: WTF!? Johnny Nitro is John Morrison? how lame! if he wanted a new attire go ahead, but that gimmick name was gold! I refuse to call him John Morrison, and thats the last time i call Johnny Nitro by that name.

WWE is screwed right now. First with all the injuries to top performers like Taker, HHH, HBK, Rey and now Edge. Also, a lot of Spanish fans watch SD, with Rey coming back soon, the ratings should go up for SD. For RAW, with HHH coming back, i think the ratings should also go up for it soon.
Second thing is this whole Benoit situation is putting a dark cloud over the WWE.
I agree TNA is not much better but are improving, they have been getting 1.2 ratings, which is good for them right now. But they also have some bad booking etc going on.
Chris Jericho will also probably be back some time this year

I believe B2 could very well save the company... but would make WWE worse than WCW nearing the end. I believe WWE has a mess on its hands.

The problem with wrestling is that you have too much of it... i mean you have like 14 ppvs from wwe a year 12 from TNA, 3 shows from WWE weekly, and not to mention all of this internet stuff... back in the 80's and early 90's when i started watching all i had was WWF superstars on saturday mornings and Wrestling Challenge on Sundays.. and i looked forward to it... there were only 4 major PPVS and no one complained.... nowadays everyone is in Wrestling overload.... i guess you can get enough of too much good stuff...

Cena has basicly been a champ constantly since 04 (U.S. Title).

WWE needs to get rid of muscle heads like Batista and Khali, and focus on pushing real talent. I'm sure they'd be surprised how much better the ratings would be.
