well, ive always wanted to see Joe vs Cena. Honestly, so have I. The internet would have a heart attack at every near pin fall. Can you imagine what would happen if Joe were to ever tap out to the STFU? I think half this board would get banned for excessive profanity. Looks like Umaga may be getting a tag partner. Either that or WWE will repackage him with a stupid name they can trademark. Looks like Samoa Steve may be in WWE soon folks! lol ;D ;D ;D I would think that using a Samoan name would be good, like Joesph Seanoa or Joe Anoa'i. Something where his first name is Joe or Joseph and he has a Samoan last name And with WWE now looking for guys who dont necessarily have the body builder look, Joe could get a chance, I think he could fit in well with any of the 3 brands for one joe would not fight cena first anyways . they would bring joe in as cena friend or bodyguard & because he is cena's best friend . cena would politic joe to top & get him one hell of push. also john cena has already beat samoa joe in upw years ago..they were trained together & best friends.

Joe could be a heck of an addition to the ECW brand! Love to see it!

I really like how people are taking this as Joe is going to WWE. It really obvious he's saying he'd rather be a low starter in WWE than have his current Angle's Bitch spot in TNA. I believe NOAH is offering him quite a bit to come there.

I hope WWE picks Samoa Joe up. I wonder why he's not happy with TNA. I don't even watch TNA, but Kurt Angle has burried Samoa Joe. I thought Angle was supposedly supposed to be going to TNA to help put over younger wrestlers, yet he's done nothing but kill Samoa Joe's career. I'd be pissed off, too. Thats pretty much what I was thinking. TNA keeps pushing there former WWE talent and doing nothing for there own talent. Sooner or later all the big TNA guys will leave.

WWE fan boys, sorry to get your hopes up, but he most likely will not go to WWE. He will probably stick with TNA till the end of his contract(plus, isn't he supposedly getting the belt soon, within 2 months?) and then go to ROH so he can work other independents around the US and work over in Japan and Mexico. Plus, hasn't it been stated before that WWE wanted Joe but he turned them down?

I hate to say it...but Joe will have to drop some weight before Vince takes him seriously. He's not fat enough to be a "big man" and not skinny enough to be considered 'WWE Athletic'. I wholeheartedly agree.

If I were Joe I wouldn't re-sign or go to the WWE. If he went to the E, didn't really get pushed and then left, his value would never be the same. On the bright side.............maybe Christian will beat him when they fight

People will probably take this as news that he wants to leave for WWE. I don't see it that way. This doesn't necessarily mean that he would take a WWE offer. The word has been that he wants to go back to ROH and work in Japan. He's probably trying to say that things in TNA are so bad that even an entry level WWE offer would be better than staying with TNA.

I don't get Joe's problem to be honest Oh yeah he's been held back by bad booking, boohoo I must be going mad then cause I remember TNA taking a Indie wrestler who was barely known & making him a genuine maineventer. He's main evented several PPV's, went a year undefeated. Fair enough he's yet to hold the strap and lost a few recently to Angle, but that is TNA building up Angle & with Joe not being on Angle's level as a known star that is understandable. Plus TNA are still drawing with Joe chasing the belt so why change it?
Joe & CM Punk both joined TNA & WWE respectively, I think it is quite obvious which wrestler has had the better push over that time.

There is nothing true to this story at all. I do business with Joe on a regular basis, and his plan once done with TNA is to work for NOAH and Ring of Honor. He has no interest in WWE, and has a deal waiting for him worth triple his current pay, and more then WWE is willing to offer.

I think most people would happily take Punks push on WWE over Joe's in TNA. Especially as it seems Punk may well win the ECW title tonight. He might win but as thats not a fact yet I'm going by what they have done so far. CM Punk spent a lot of time in OVW, then when made his WWE debut got a lot of backstage heat because he wasn't working WWE style. He's yet to wrestle in a PPV main event match, or in a decent match apart from Survivor Series. So far he has worked a lot of squash matches or disappointing short matches where he barely gets over 10minutes. He got a decent reaction but thats down to him rather than his push. As for the ECW title, this is in most peoples eyes not exactly a World title anymore, little more than the I/C or US title. In contrast Joe has wrestled in several high profile PPV main events & had several very strong matches along the way. I'd say to date Joe has had a far greater push & even if CM wins the strap on Sunday I'd still feel that way.
