Anyways, Go Orton. I'm not going to argue why Orton is better than Cena. I just like him more. Oh no. Independent thought!

AND. The fact that Cena and Lashley work 300+ days a year, and travel a hectic schedule to entertain their fans, does mean they are busting their asses. You need to realise: this is sports entertainment, not technical wrestling. ...So does the rest of the roster. I'm sure they wrestle just as many times as Cena and Lashley do.

Orton smokes pot, what's your point? They are both pieces of ****? Atleast HBK can put on a match that doesn't make me want to take a ing nap. Word. Maybe if Orton was the least bit entertaining, it'd be easier to tolerate him. I agree, the guy makes me wanna go to sleep.

Not to be offensive but you are quite the hipicrit, you seem to love Orton's new title shot but you have an anti-orton sig. Also, I would say ECW is the best brand wrestling wise but as far as entertainment goes, nah, it's under, deep. lol what of the 20 + posts I've made in this thread makes you think that I love Orton's title shot? I've done nothing but dog him the whole thread. Then why don't you stop watching now. What is your reasoning for wanting to see the rest of this Orton "poop"?

It was quite weird tonight - a lot of stuff looked really fake - more fake than usual... Regal was supposed to grab Sandman, while in the corner - but as he was reaching, Sandman fell backwards, so Regal couldn't get hold of him... Orton's kick to the head of Dusty, looked really bad, and Cody's strikes didn't even look like they were connecting... WTF was going on with that Jeff bump?... Just mistakes all over the place, tonight - which brings me to the biggest mistake of the night... Orton, as no. 1 contender... So Orton's punishment for his past misdemeanours, is to be given a spot in the main-event, of one of the year's biggest PPV's?... It is quite disgraceful, that he has a chance to win the belt, after the trouble he's caused... There is one positive, though - it means that greenhorn Cody Runnels will not be on a card, he has no business being on... I still find it hard to believe, that he has now had two matches on RAW, while Burchill - who is far superior to Runnels, has had none... as they say, it's all in the name... Finally, let me say this loud and clear... JEFF HARDY SHOULD BE CHALLENGING CENA AT SUMMERSLAM - he is easily, the most over star on RAW... the fans would love him as champion - but most importantly, HE DESERVES IT... he's the only one who does - Kennedy doesn't, and Orton is an undeserving, joke... and the only thing, he deserves to be given, IS HIS WALKING PAPERS...

To be fair, I think that WWE is trying to get Cena over as a face, and I don't think him feuding with another face is the way to do that. Is Jeff Hardy talented? Yes. Is he WWE Championship material? Time will tell. But, he has to wait until a heel holds the title. Face vs face matches don't work in developing a character.

Lashley is probably the biggest babyface on Raw currently.

And, that wasn't your point. The point you were trying to make is that Cena and/or Lashley were more credible as champion because they either "Bust their ass" a lot, or they're over as a babyface. But, a Babyface has been WWE champion 99% of the time since WrestleMania 21.

Are you kidding? As soon as this Benoit death dies out, the media wont give a about WWE. Have you ever seen the evening news post up WWE PPV results and commenting on the wrestlers and their steroid issues? If so, then, damn! I'm out of the loop. I guess you're out of the loop then. It is very highly likely that Congress is going to hold hearings about steroid use in wrestling this Fall. So, do you think that having drug abusing, suspension prone Randy Orton as the center of the flagship show is a really good idea right now? Oh, but you're right... why the hell would news organizations pay attention to a part of the entertainment industry, with the top rated show on cable, standing before Congress? Some people just don't get it. By the way, Nancy Grace is doing another show on wrestling tomorrow night. The story is still getting press.

ing mother ing crap. Orton has done nothing to warrant himself anywhere near the title picture. How the hell he got their beats me. The only thing I can hope for is a injury. This is a downright joke that this guy got to where he is. Why he keeps getting pushed is beyond me he does not connect with the fans it's ridiculous. Rest of Raw though was decent as it builtup some nice feuds and had a couple of decent (not good) matches. Hopefully Carlito will be elevated to main event status with this feud and Orton does not win and Carlito may be the one who gets it. Anyone but ing Orton.

i am a fan of both orton and cena, so it's win-win for me.
i'd rather cena win, because his long title reign shouldn't end from a match that has just been put together a few weeks from the ppv. it needs to be a long feud before the strap comes off cena.

I can't stand Cena but I agree that he shouldn't lose the title in a match that is thrown together in a few weeks. I wouldn't mind seing Cena/Orton have a long feud, then after their feud have Triple H and Orton feud.

What the are they doing with Carlito and Kennedy? Why did they move Kennedy to Raw in the first place? He was so much better on SD. He should of stayed there. As for Carlito, wow, talk about mis-using talent. Carlito could be a huge star, but because he spoke his mind in an interview around mania, he's in a useless mid-card role right now. Mean while, Orton, who has been given every damm chance that a mid-carder wouldn't get, gets a title shot? God, what the is wrong with the WWE. not like any of it matters, because when HHH gets back, you know he'll be whoring the damm show. Orton vs. Cena at Summerslam, wow, doesn't really matter because everyone knows who ever has the belts right now is just keeping for the asses of asses Triple H. WWE is totally ed right now.

Kennedy has been treated poorly on Raw so far, but he will get his time to shine in a few months.
