When somebody comes out from under the ring and attacks somebody how do they do it without being seen? Do they have a traped door or do they just stay under the ring before the show starts untill they need to come out or do they do somthing else.

I've always wondered this myself. My guess would be they stay there from the beginning until the show starts but im probably wrong because that would be extremely uncomfortable.

usually when a recap video is shown on the titantron since they turn the lights off then and won't be seen.
I remember reading about 1 wrestler that had to stay down there from the start of the show and feel asleep under there.

When was the last time WWE did a spot like this? I think it's been a while, unfortunately -- they're always fairly entertaining.

I used to think about this when Sting popped up through the ring several times and attacked Bischoff in like..1997.
I came to the conclusion that he stayed under the ring the whole show, " using" a Playboy magazine. Where do you think he got that white face paint?

Hornswoggle comes out from under the ring during Finlays matches on Smackdown. But it's probably not that uncomfortable under there for him. He probably just...walks around

Funny how people think there's a trap door, they don't realize that the ring is on CEMENT floor of an arena... like they can really have a trap door under the ring? lol. Anyway, it's true.......They stay under the ring since the beginning and they have an ear piece on when to come out, etc.

I was at a show once and it was in uk and there was a spot where two guys came out dressed with hats and acted like security and then went under the ring. It was easily seen coz the lighting from the spotlight that was on a guy doign a promo from the ramp.
So its either they come diguised or they stay under for whole show

I remember reading about 1 wrestler that had to stay down there from the start of the show and feel asleep under there. Actually when Boogeyman, just started in OVW, he was under the ring, right as they where starting to let people in, which is an hour and half before the show. So about an hour after the show started, when his music started to play no Boogeyman, came out from under the ring. The camera guy had to wake him up, and they had to re-shoot the whole segment.

I read that they walk under the ring during the break, but that just sounds silly, doesn't it?

They stay under there for the whole show, until they are needed. You can see a box of water bottles placed next to the Ring Apron sometimes too, to help keep the Wrestler cool. I guess they have an earpeace and small TV under there or something.

At mania 22 when shane interfered in michaels and vince, when they was showing the promo before the match he came down dressed in back disguised as a security guard, and crawled under the ring. I knew it was him straight away and told the people around me to expect shane to come from under the ring.

Theres a trap door on the side of the casket for the wrestler to crawl out and under the ring, if i'm not mistaken.
