I have been a fan of WWE (F) since 1992 and have seen alot of superstars come and go in this time.
I fail to see any sort of redeeming qualities in Mr Kennedy. His character (loud mouth who has high opinion of himself) has been done a 1,000 times before and alot better and more convincingly by other wrestlers.
He looks so boring and generic. Hardcore Holly, Scott Steiner and many other wrestlers have had the bleached blonde hair look and his tights look like a cheap rip off of The Rock from 2000.
In the ring Kennedy doesn't do much really his matches don't contain much excitment and there is a general lack of interest in his droaning interviews.
To me Mr Kennedy is just run of the mill hes not got the star quality of a main eventer and hes just seems like hes mid card material and no more.
Anyone agree?

I agree that there is something lacking in Kennedy's ring work, but a lot of that has to do with his opponents. He has not been given much of a chance to truly shine, and I don't see him getting much chance on Raw. If he was left on Smackdown to feud with Edge, I think he could have some awesome matches.
But he definitely has charisma. Sure, his gimmick may not exactly be the freshest, but the same can be said for a lot of guys. I suppose I'll be horribly smited for saying this, but can you get anymore generic than John Cena? Or HHH? Or, for that matter, HBK? It's all in how you handle your gimmick, and the heart you put into your promos. Kennedy gives his all to entertain the fans, and he is over with them in spite of being out with injury for the better part of 2 years and not being featured in a PPV in months. In short, I think Kennedy has plenty of potential.

Mr Kennedy is the one who will bring back the attitude era for the WWE.

Wow. I respect your opinion, but ive got to disagree. I think his mic work is amazing, and he has some chris jericho like vibe on the mic. His in-ring work isnt AMAZING, but he can still put on an exciting match.

Triple H and HBK are in a different leagure to Mr Kennedy. Triple H is probably considered one of the greatest heels of all time in his 1999-2003 run.
HBK is also one of the all time best ever and helped to bridge the gap between heavyweight division and the smaller crusierweights style.
Also when Jericho did the cocky in love with himself character that was 1998. 9 years later when Kennedy does it its passe' and a cleashay.

He's not awful....but certainly not the best heel in WWE as some people make him about to be.
That distinction would go to King Booker.

Mr Kennedy is the one who will bring back the attitude era for the WWE. The Attitude era ended on March 26, 2001 when a company I wish was still in existence was around WCW.

Kennedy is in no way Jericho from 1998. Jericho can actually cut promos and can wrestle. I know I'll get heat but Kennedy is average at best. I like him, but I am not overly impressed. and I have to agree with vertan that King Booker is the best heel right now with Edge injured.

I enjoy the character, but his in-ring skills need work.

while his mic skills are amazing I do think their dropping the ball a little bit on Kennedy....He should be the one getting the title shot right now or atleast he should of got a push when he got back from his injury an then of course a title shot...instead they have him lose to Super Crazy...Lose to Jeff Hardy...so whats next

Mr Kennedy sucks, big time. Screaming like a ing moron is not Chris Jericho mic work. And, most of his matches put me to sleep. No wonder he has been jobbing out. WWE realizes they made a mistake building this clown up.

I like Kennedy, but I tend to agree. He doesn't really fit on Raw that well. He also is not a very convincing heel. To me he is in the same boat as Masters, Carlito, and both Hardys...he just isn't ready for the main event yet. It sorta suprises me as I felt he was better than Lashley when they both debuted...but Lashley has clearly surpassed Kennedy

I think Kennedy blows.
Well.. that's a little harsh, I guess. He definitely seems like he could be something big, but right now he's so incredibly average. All around. In the ring.. on the mic.. the works. Really bland crap.

Overrated piece of garbage, and I hope he never gets a World title, as he's not championship material.
