WWE is doing a deal at house shows where Batista vs. Khali matches end via DQ when Finlay interferes, setting up Batista & Kane vs. Khali & Finlay which ends with Batista pinning Finlay. The reason for the tag matches is that apperently the Batista vs. Khali singles matches are so bad that they can't even have them do extended singles matches on houseshows, yet they expect them to do an extended singles match at SummerSlam.

Batista isn't even THAT bad in the ring. He's no technical genious, but I can tolerate his matches. It's just the fact that Khali has done nothing to deserve holding the title or be a wrestler and when he's forced to wrestle anything other than a squash match, it shows how much he sucks.
They should turn the SummerSlam main event into Finlay vs. Khali vs. Kane vs. Batista. At least it would be more entertaining.

Seriously, this is going to be the worst title match ever. Say what you will about Cena..but he at least got a couple of solid matches out of Khali. This match is just gonna be utter ****.
Finlay should be main eventing on SD.

Uggh, that match is gonna suck major balls. WWE better throw some good matches in this year. I wish Edge was the Champ and Khali was injured.
Last year's sucked, only a few good matches in my opinion were Rey/Chavo, DX/McMahons and Edge/Cena

and where are all the Cena haters/defenders of Batista? At least Cena was able to pull 2 watchable matches out of Khali. This reeks of last year when they pulled Undertaker vs. Khali and put it on Smackdown! so that they could heavily edit it lol

I don't think Batista/Khali thing meshes well. Khali needs a big time face to go after him and Batista is borderline tweener to me.

Sorry, but I put this on batista. he's the "seasoned main eventer." In theory, he should be able to carry anyone to a decent main event. Look at Khali's former main event generals. Undertaker (taped match didn't turn out as bad as expected), HBK & Cena. All 3 pulled decent matches out of him. |

I just watched this last weekend. Khali had batista in a claw hold for 3 of the 5mins the match went on...

Then they sure as hell better add Finlay and Kane to the match at Summerslam then.
Reminiscent of last year when 'Taker/Khali was scrapped because it wasn't PPV worthy.
