It won't happen lol.
At first, I hated the brand extension, but now, I like it. More titles more guys get chances.

WWE needs to realize that the problem is NOT the Brand Extension The B.E. was one of the smartest things WWE has ever done. The problem is that their storylines ing suck, and there's an unbalanced amount of talent on Raw/Smackdown. Fix those things, the show will get better, and ratings will go up. And then you don't have to hold back all the up-and-comers.

I hope it doesnt happen. I like having different styles on different shows. Maybe Vince instead will bring Gerwitz on national TV, beat him senseless, then firing him and telling him he's a useless writer who even porno couldnt use to write storylines.
Well a man can dream.

According to Dave Meltzer haha! if it does happen, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD KEEP ECW! not because i like ECW, because it is a different style to WWE. WWE will have more than enough main eventers, more than enough mid carders and more than enough lower, opening kind of guys if they unify smackdown and raw. ECW should have its independance (not as in be its own company, as in it should be left out of most smackdown and raw business) so just unify SD and Raw. Think of the main eventers you have on ECW (Punk, Morrison, Burke) They need to be on ECW. The main eventers on SD (Khali, Edge, Kane, Taker, Batista) can do well in a unification so there is more competition with Raw (Kennedy, Orton, Cena, Lashley, Booker, HBK, HHH when they return). Same goes with the mid-carders (Carlito, Shelton, Haas, Hardys, Masters, MVP, Umaga, Chavo, Finlay and Flair) and Tag Teams (Hardys, Major Brothers, Deuce N Domino, Highlanders, Cryme Tyme, Regal + Taylor depending on the unification) ECW wouldnt benefit from it, but the rest of the WWE would.

DAVE MELTZER NEVER REPORTED THIS, SO WHEN IT DOES NOT HAPPEN, DO NOT COMPLAIN! Please read the above.

There will be way too many main eventers too, and this will not allow others to get pushed. exactly. it's just not gonna work at all.. It will be how it is now with the PPV being combined, it usually the same guys on the ppvs and usually 1 tag title being defended so I hope it does end but I doubt it will tbh.

YES YES YES YEAH THE HATERS, THIS AFTERNOON BELONGS TO US! What does that even mean. I guess there goes Matt Hardy's push. It could be really cool, but it could also be the end of a lot of WWE careers. Actually, this guy said everything that needs to be said. WWE needs to realize that the problem is NOT the Brand Extension The B.E. was one of the smartest things WWE has ever done. Could my WWF be coming back That also means though, that they have to get rid of all those extra worthless, meaningless titles and get rid of that ECW and cut back on PPVs. I'll belive it when I see it. It made everything crowded, worthless and meaningless.

I think it could work and be fair to the younger talent only if they balance the weekly appearances of wrestlers. Top level guys would have programs on both shows but, say, on Raw they would wrestle one week and then on Smackdown they'd just cut a promo. Reverse it the next week or keep it the same, whichever works best for that particular week. That way the rosters are still united but also offer something different. You can still push talent this way and keep their faces on TV while also keeping the top level guys that sell tickets on the show. Eventually, put some of the guys who have had enough spotlight for awhile in mid-level feuds and then push the younger, deserving guys to the top and have them appear on both Raw and Smackdown. It's much more complicated than it sounds, unfortunately.

If that happens, I will stop watching WWE. All the talented guys would be released.

Dave Meltzer is reporting that after WWE first received the 2.5 RAW rating last week, there was serious panic at WWE headquarters. One idea that was being tossed around at the time was to combine the RAW, ECW and SmackDown rosters and do away with the tri-branded formats. Nothing will probably come of this, but the idea was being tossed around. Either way, expect WWE to somewhat start all over tomorrow night on RAW.
