He is getting a WHC match against Khali but the requirement is the 200 pound mark as emphasised a couple of weeks ago on SD where someone mentioned it and the cruiserweight title before Rey's return.
Sure he has gained 25 pounds before returning reaching 175p mark but he isnt ellegible yet.
Talk about ruining your own kayfabe...

There is no wait limit for the World Titles, despite what the announcers say.
Chyna challenged for the No.1 Contendership to the WWF Title in 1999 and was entered into the Rumble, wherein the winner would get a title shot at Mania.

^^ He does look beefy since he came back. It's nice to see what he looks like when he's not on anything.

I dont think Rey can beat Khali cuz Khali is so much bigger and powerful than Rey. And Rey cant "overcome the odds" cuz thats just goin to far. Now i can see someone inerfering for Rey and thats how he wins, but thats it

There's a good chance he's put on some weight because of his inactivity from surgery...
Plus, his name did come up in one of the shady drug bust lists, didn't it? Not the suspension one, but I believe one of them said he was being perscribed some 'bad stuff.'
Heavier Rey is a healthier Rey, if he was indeed on something.

She won a triple threat against Mankind and Austin I think thanks to Triple H then met Triple H on RAW? Then it ended in a DQ I think. I'm not 100% sure though. I would rather Rey as champion though.

Really? I don't remember that. Thanks for the info. I still don't think Rey should fight for the title, his first run was horrible and got it for all the wrong reasons.

How many times, does this have to explained. You can go up weight classes, but down weight classes.

I think Rey makes a better champ than Khali. If for no other reason than that Rey isn't a major liability in the ring.

The weight requirements are for the cruiserweight title, not the world title.
Also, wasn't the 200lbs. mention just an off handed comment from MVP?
If so, then it doesn't matter anyway. The cruiserweight limit use to be 220.

Dude, Rey was already champ this year, I am sure the weight limit thing doesn't matter.

If I remember right, the announcer's said "Chavo Classic is right at the 220 mark, the cut-off for the title" in the Triple Threat match where he won the belt. So, he was a cruiserweight in kayfabe.
