- During the creative meeting last week when Vince made it clear he would enforce the three strike rule in WWE, RAW writer Brian Gewirtz renewed his push for Mick Foley to be brought back to RAW in a prominent role since Foley will pass any drug test. The same goes for Chris Jericho, who as previously reported, is in talks with WWE.
- There is some concern within WWE that Mike "Simon Dean" Bucci will be called as a witness to testify for Congress because he was recently fired. Congress sometimes goes after recently fired company execs. Bucci has stated to many people since his release that he hates the business and is glad to be out.

- As previously posted, Ric Flair apparently quit WWE earlier in the week. Sources say WWE has offered Flair a huge program in return for him staying with the company. At last check, the two sides still hadn't came to an agreement.
- WWE.com's latest Superstar 2 Superstar features Kane interviewing Rob Zombie. The interview focuses on Zombie's new Halloween movie.
- It's believed Jeff Hardy's recent suspension cost him around $100,000. While gone from action for 30 days Hardy missed house show dates, a downside guarantee and a SummerSlam PPV bonus.

- Last week when the WWE suspensions broke, most people within the company were kept in the dark about the list of names. Only WWE higher-ups like Vince, Stephanie, Johnny Ace, Brian Gewirtz and Michael Hayes knew. There has been some paranoia within WWE as of late about news being leaked out.
WWE creative teams weren't told of the names until that Friday because they had to write TV for the weekend and needed to know who was and was not going to be available. Dusty Rhodes had two scripts wrote for ECW, one in case John Morrison was available and one in case he wasn't,
- It's believed that originally Vince McMahon didn't expect the list of names to be made public.
