goldberg didnt work for vince in 2002. he made his first appearance the night after WM19, almost halfway into 2003. that was because he was still geting paid by AOL Time Warner.

Vince was making tons of money, he could have shelled some out for the key WCW players instead of lose money with his horribly booked Invasion.

ALL the big WCW players was still under contract to AOL Time Warner and and could no join the wwe until the contract was up. but why was the BIG stars signed to AOL Time Warner and not WCW itself.

They were free to leave those contracts at any time...Ric Flair forfeited a goodly amount of money to sign with Vince.

Because Goldberg was expecting the same treatment in WWE like he did in WCW.

Because Goldberg was expecting the same treatment in WWE like he did in WCW. And let's face it...if the Invasion taught us anything, it's that Vince has no intention of letting anyone that he didn't make look like anything special.
