I'm not a huge fan of Lance Cade, but Trvor Murdoch is a throwback to the old school. He's a good worker and together, he and Cade are decent and pretty damn funny. A somewhat gay redneck (Murdoch) and his pretty boy cowboy partner (Cade). What's the problem that I don't see?

I don't really think that they are shooting for a gay redneck and pretty cowboy team. I think it is just a redneck team

because they got X-Pac Heat. Not quite. They would have to turn face before we can determine whether or not they have X-Pac heat.

You're absolutely right, but when they debuted, they were. I don't really think that they are shooting for a gay redneck and pretty cowboy team. I think it is just a redneck team

As for X-Pac heat, there's a guy who deserved alot more respect. He really opened the door for small wrestlers back in the early 90s when he was the Lightning Kid.

Because while they might be old school, they are very boring. Nothing they do is exciting or makes me want to care about their matches. Not to mention that they get no crowd reaction.

Besides the redneck gimmick being rediculously stale... they don't connect with the audience or generate heel heat. Their wrestling style is slow paced, basic, and just not interesting to watch in today's age. Their appearance just solidifies the overwhelming blandness that is Cade and Murdoch.

because they got the best team in the wwe fired IMO They fired themselves? I don't get the hate. They have pulled off better WWE tag team matches than any other team this year in the WWE, and they are an actual legit team. Call me old-school, but I'll prefer a team that can wrestle, draw heat when they are used, and gel so well together as opposed to someone like, say, Cena and Michaels. Cade and Murdoch's feud with the Hardyz shows that if you use them, people will react. And besides, no matter how many times fan bitch about them, history will always see Cade and Murdoch wearing gold in 2005, and then again in 2007 (twice!). And people will say, "Golly gee, Cade and Murdoch, there's a team for the ages!"

They're not flashy enough for most fans nowadays, I guess.
I like how they're from the south but they're not portrayed as stupid. They're like the southern gentlemen tag team that'll stab you in the back when you least expect it.

Cade and Murdoch are easily one of the best tag teams to come up in the last few years. They had countless good matches with The Hardys and even since that feud ended they have had some damn good tag team matches with other teams on RAW.

You shouldn't even be a MOD, you have no concept of what good wrestling is nor any respect for the past. Besides the redneck gimmick being rediculously stale... they don't connect with the audience or generate heel heat. Cryme Tyme were flashes in the pan. They were over, but they were just flavors of the month. The Highlanders were over for a little while as well.

No, he pretty much said it all. There is nothing to them. It's 2007, the redneck gimmick has been beaten to death and turned into glue, that horse is long gone. I don't find anything special about them what so ever. They bore me and the general audience to death. Hear that sound hen they come out? ya, thats called silence because no one cares for them.
