Well i just read the blurb on WZ where the Rock talks about how he retired quietly from wrestling and walked away from it without making a big deal out of it .. Reading it made me kinda sad bc it really made me feel like in all reality we will never see the rock wrestle another match ever again. . . His last suprise promo made me mark out more than i think i ever have (being completely honest) i love the rock , i liked him the most in 02-04 when his career was winding down (which i did not know @ the time) and i've really come to miss him on wwe tv , he is such an electrifying performer ( no pun intended) and such an awesome character to watch , not to mention i think he is one of the best mic workers in the history of the business . . I guess what i am getting as really is that i will be really upset if we never see him in WWE ever again , what do u guys think the likely-hood of seeing him back in the ring again is? Do you think he'll wrestle a wrestlemania or summerslam match at least one more time ? do u think we'll see him make some suprise return at some point in the near future? im curious to know what you all think . . .
thanks ----
thoughts?

making a lot of money and risking your body in the process or just making a lot of money

If he does come back, it'll just be one night things like he did in 04.

I think it's as likely as Chris Benoit becoming a saint. Then again, if his movies bomb...

i'm pretty sure the rock will never be back. i used to hold onto some small glimmer of hope, but i've come to the realization that it's just not gonna happen. even his "special" appearances are getting pretty rare nowadays. the rock is still one of my all time favorites and it's good for him that he has such a decent movie career and all that & i don't want to be a hater, but it kinda sucks for us wrestling fans since it was us loving him that made him so popular & then he just left oh well *sigh*

I dont think that the fans of now (mainly 10-12 year olds) would appreciate him. I think they'd rather see Cena Vs. Batista or Lashely than a Rock return.
So, really wat im saying is that the 'new' generation of fans really don't know wat they ahev missed (eg. Rock, Austin, Bret Hart, ect.)

I guess it was wise for him to go out at an all-time high. He's stayed away from all the 'bad sides' of the business (meaning we didn't hear much backstage crap about him), he was an excellent performer, and awesomley suspenseful match finisher, and an absolute legend on the mic. He didn't let his career completely wind down to 'that' point, and called it a day when the fans still cherished him. Now he's gone the less we see of him, the more we are relishing appearances, and the more we love him. Basically what I'm saying is that he's finished whilst he's still on the very top, and because of that fact, that is how he will remain. A wrestling icon. Well that's what I think anyway...

The Rock probley wont be back in WWE ever again.. But if he is in WWE it will just be on the Titontron doing a Video about a certain match. Or J.R and Jerry will say something about him like The Rock has a new Movie coming out...
If you ask me I think it would be funny to see the Rock leave WWE and then like in 6 months come to TNA.
