Ok, Sandman was over, but some of you saying WWE is gay and Vince has lost it need your heads checked. Honestly, he was very over, but wasn't going to be doing anything major and I would much rather see the real talent be used. Any of you thinking getting rid of Sandman will hurt the company needs to rethink that.

At least he wasnt doing much, he should have been main eventing ECW or SD! or mid carding Raw.

He hasn't really done anything on Raw, and he's a horrible wrestler. Every match he's had this year has ended in a DQ. Good riddance.

Is anyone really surprised? It's only a matter of time for all the ECW originals. I think the only shocking fact is that he lasted as long as he did after being moved to Raw.

I mean, I like Sandman at all, but the guy is practically useless. He can't even put on a basic match, and he is ridiculous in the ring. Keeping him on ECW would have been smart, but really, he's just taking up space. That pretty much sums it up for me. In ECW, he made sense. On RAW.....he was worthless and the E did nothing and attempted to do nothing with him. I was a tad bit shocked, but then again I am not. |

Do you think it had to do with him sticking around in the ring for too long during the Vince/Bastard Child segment?
I mean, I halfway understood why he didn't leave when McMahon asked all the Extreme wrestlers to leave the ring. But when McMahon asked all the champions and former champions to stay in the ring, I didn't understand why he was still in the ring with that glazed look on his face. He has never one a WWE title whether tag team or singles....
He looked off last night for whatever reason too. Even during his enterance against Santino earlier in the night, it looked like he was ready to lose his balance from that guardrail he normally stands on...

y do they get rid of guys like sandman, cryme time and etc? when they leave the miz, snitsky and santino on the roster?

I never really saw him going anywhere once they moved him to RAW, but it sucks that he's gone. It looks like he hurt his knee last night, too.

Santino is young and talented, Snitsky is a decent big man, and Miz plays a good gimmick and could wrestle decent sometimes. |

I'm glad he's gone. Sandman is my favorite wrestler of all time, and now he can actually put on some good hardcore matches in the indy promotions again! Woo!
Although, I'm sure TNA will be calling his ass over as soon as they can.

i thought they were keeping him around for the nostalgia factor that many fans pop for him. He's been in 2 feuds on Raw. WWE releases the wrong guys all the time.
