The target of their complaints is expected to focus on Jeff Jarrett. The contingent that is upset is led by Kurt Angle, but includes Samoa Joe, Team 3D, and Christian Cage. While Jarrett has a long-running business relationship that developed into a friendship with Jeff, Kurt's wife Karen and Dixie have become friends, and Kurt and Dixie's husband have also hit it off. Sometimes there is "talk" of this type of thing, but by the time everyone assembles, tempers or frustrations may subside and other priorities may take precedence. There is, though, frustration within TNA over the booking, manifesting with some of the decisions made for the first two two-hour versions of TNA Impact. Jarrett has been in control of creative this entire year.
Who booked Bob Backlund humiliating Shelley/Sabin? Jarrett.
Who signed Pacman Jones and gave him a title? Jarrett.
Jarrett has been in control of creative all this time and Dixie for some reason is agreeing with him and putting money into things not necessary.
I'm glad guys like Angle and Joe are standing up to the sucky booking.

I'm glad guys like Angle and Joe are standing up to the sucky booking. Exactly, Jeff needs to hand most of the creative responsibilities over to someone who knows what they are truly doing. Not to say he doesn't but he's losing his edge. Like you stated above, who wants to see a washed up old timer go over two of possibly the hottest young talents in the business today? Who wants to see a pro football player come in and do nothing but take money away from the company that could possibly be used to bring in great, young, upcoming talent? Not I, or anyone else. I think that this "contingent" of top talent in TNA speaking out will do nothing but help TNA. |

I can't even imagine how great TNA would be. You do realize that ECW went out of business because Paul Heyman DID NOT generate serious revenue? Heyman was also working with a VERY small staff and was paying for ECW out of his own pocket. TNA has Panda Energy to shovel money into their mouths as long as they maintain decent ratings. TNA + Heyman = Creative Genius = Financial Rewards. |
