The fact that Val Venis is in the lead proves that most wrestling fans are  ing morons. True, maybe, but fans who have been watching wrestling for a long time, I'm guessing longer than you since you were a kid when Val Venis debuted in the WWF, remember how great the guy was. What Val needs is to be released. He's an overhyped guy by the marks. I remember when the marks BEGGED for a Venis figure, & how many were sold? 26?

I love Val Venis. He deserves a lot, but a gimmick change would be neccesary ala JBL. I ing hate people who call him overrated. every wrestler ever is overrated ever and just because you dont like him doesnt make him overrated overrated Also keep in mind, smarks arent the only people that visit WWE.com. EVERYONE goes to that site, including children , so Val winning must mean something. WF and "smart" marks couldnt effect the vote that much. |

Should Val jump into the main event out of nowhere? No, but that's not why I voted for him. They need to give that guy an honest shot at becoming a TV talent again. I'm not expecting main event level, but would an IC title hunt really hurt anybody when there's like 4 guys in the division they take seriously? Don't let WWE's hype machine fool you: Val's a good wrestler, he still gets a decent reaction, he has a nice physique, and he's a loyal guy who's been stuck on the undercard for many years now. I hope they continue his stint with Santino. Maybe he can try to get Maria to appear in one of his movies. I'd love that just to hear Santino do his nonsensical freak out.
