I got the poster for the event tonight at the sports bar I watched it at, they give them away to the first 2 people who ask. The poster is awesome as hell.

That was an awesome event. The Last Man Standing match could really be MOTY. Triple H and Orton worked so much better together than they did back in 2004.

Did they not do anything at all with the Hornswoggle storyline last night? Sadly  Anyway, I don't know why everyone is complaining, No Mercy was AWESOME! Its amazing how just one pec tear could make a PPV better  Anyway, I really want to see Orton feud with HHH for a while, then lose it in the winter, with Triple H going on to face MR. Kennedy at WM24 Oh, and can someone tell me what matches they said were on the Cyber Sunday card during the little promo? |

God that PPV sucked. Who booked that crap, Vince Russo? I feel like I was watching Bash at the Beach 2000 or some crap.
Calling Orton a 2 time WWE champion is a disgrace. Same with Triple H and 11 times..

Realistically speaking, I don't know why they didn't just make Triple H/Umaga a number one contender's match, with the winner facing Orton in the main event. But I guess this way it seemed more like "OMG! What's gonna happen next!?" and was a decent swerve since when I came into this thread earlier during the PPV last night it was filled with "I want my money back! WWE sucks! They just handed the belt over to Orton! What a waste! I thought he was going to face Jericho!" and then "He jobs to Triple H already!? WWE sucks! I want my money back! I thought Jericho was returning!" but everyone (or most) seemed happy when Orton won it the final time.
I didn't watch the event, but it seemed like a fun one. The best shows for me are usually ones that have a storyline that lasts throughout the entire event, and this sounds like a definite DVD buy for me.

Well i havent watched the event, but what shabby booking. And WWE fans complain when TNA book this crap, it was a complete mess, and the bookers should be ashamed of thereselves.

Go back to watching your precious ROH. At least their booking makes more sense than any of WWE's recent decisions. Not to mention, they don't grossly overcharge for their events and they consistently deliver good matches. |
