Triple H and Stephanie will ruin the WWE. Honestly, it's 2007, everyone with a brain knows that wrestling is scripted. There's no more "exposing" the business the business has already been exposed. There needs to be more reality in the WWE. I'm tired of seeing guys like Kevin Thorn pretending to be a vampire or a tag team like the Highlanders, someone acting like a mentally challenged person (Eugene), etc.
The WWE NEEDS reality based storylines and wrestlers. The wrestling needs to be updated and they should wrestle more like the UFC. The storylines need to get better. Everything about the WWE right now needs to change. Vince McMahon seems like he knows what to do or at least what he wants people to do but there's no way he'll disagree with his daughter and son-in-law.

I do hope Tough Enough never comes back. I hated it from day one. I do agree, however, that WWE needs some more wrestlers who have more "reality-based" gimmicks.

To be fair, we all come on here, thinking we know everything there is to know about the business, when in reality; we know nothing at all. Sure, we like to think we do, but to say there isn't anything left to expose is a really silly statement imo. The longer the business stays private, the better.

They've said on TV MANY times that Kevin Thorn isn't a vampire. He dresses like one and goes to bite clubs. Believe it or not, people do that in America. So technically it is a reality based gimmick. I'm all for Tough Enough, I thought as an actual show it was good. Not on Smackdown.

Maybe Triple H and Sephanie Helmsley are trying to dry out WWE. Maybe you know, Trips is making a new organization. This is all just a plan to get it bankrupt. =/

Vince feels WWE needs to put some reality TV into all three of the brands?
HOW ABOUT HE TRIES TO PUT SOME WRESTLING INTO ALL 3 BRANDS???
RAW had 30 minutes of wrestling in a 2 hour block!
I am sick of watching RAW every week and it's Diva crap and an hour of Coach trying to find Hornswoggle! Hopefully with HBK back and whatever "SAVE_US.222", is RAW will start to get better.
ECW and Smackdown are pretty good with in ring action, but lack the star power that RAW has.

Its not just Tough Enough, its the whole creative team, and the head of the creative team is Stephanie. The booking and storylines have been awful for the better part of 2007, and if Stephanie is going to run things in the future, the WWE will go DOWN

so HHH and stephanie will ruin WWE because theres no tough enough? I couldnt have said it any better myself. Honestly, why does anyone watch wrestling anymore? I know it's fake. But you know what? That's the main reason I still watch it at all. I mean, take The Undertaker, for example. He's not really dead, but I still get pumped up anytime that I watch one of his matches, even though he's not as good as he once was. The same goes for Kane. It's because they're both "big, ass-kicking machines."

Am I the only one that doesn't entirely buy this? If Triple H didn't care about Tough Enough, why did he appear on season one? Why would he waste his time with something he didn't care about?

I don't think they can ruin it more than it already is. WWE now is far better than it was in 1995 and 1999. Just because the guys from the era the game in your signature is from aren't wrestling anymore doesn't mean the wrestling is bad.

Then wouldnt we be bored to see everyone come out in the same damn tights, everyone wearing black... it would be boring as hell... gimmicks set people apart or else there would be no mid carders no main eventers and it would just be boring

They aren't gonna ruin it. Sure they may ruin it for some people with the changes that they will bring, but hell that's what the wrestling business is all about change. Trips & Steph want the entertainment factor emphasised in the WWE if you don't like that then don't watch it, it's simple. It actually appears that people may be taking that as WWE is in a 10 year slump and I really hope that some changes are made. Tough Enough is not the answer though.

I agree with 1995... but you must be joking about 1999. The WWF in 1999 had one of it's most succcesful years. The whole year was freaking great. The Ministry of Darkness, The Rock finally reaching his level of potential, Austin/McMahon was still going strong, Triple H had his break out year in 1999. Wow... I hope that was just a joke because from late 1997-2000 the WWF was great.
