I knew it was him as I read he was being repackaged a week after his kane gimmick failed.

I wish they would of continued with the story line with kane and his mask that he took back. Could of been more interesting.

they really messed up this storyline. the story should have been that masked festus was the REAL kane, and unmasked jacobs was the faker. then have masked festus trash unmasked jacobs, and then jacobs returns with the mask. hope that makes sense. basically a way to give kane his mask back.

I've known since the fake Kane angle began. Nice little fun fact.

They messed up the angle from the first appearance.
His wig was really bad looking (they made it better later on) and his outfit was the one-sleeve Kane version with another red sleeve. Kane WORE two sleeves before. Why not just use a replica of that? Festus was definitely the right guy for the job but they just didn't execute it as good a they could have. I thought the angle as going to end with Kane finding out he was either the "real" Kane or another brother of his whom originally was thought to perish in the fire.

This might be interesting to note:
There was a WWE RAW house show in Birmingham UK, and in the weeks prior to it, there was a Freakin' Deacon vs Kane match scheduled. Of course, by the time the show happened, they totally dropped that. But it's interesting that they would later work together as Kane/Fake Kane.
LMAO at people on youtube insisting that Fake Kane was Undertaker, and showing that clip from 1999 when Taker dressed as Kane. They fail to notice that Taker has his Ministry beard, Vince looks younger and there is a WWF logo in the corner. Silly Kids.
