I guess I missed the part where the amount of title changes dictates if a show is good or not.
It was advertised as every title on the line, not every title will change hands.

Unsticky mods Umm why? It's been a whopping two days since the PPV ended. It should be kept up at least a week after it ends, or until the GAB post is put up.

I see it as the PPV is over, so the thread no longer needs to be stickied. You have a valid point, but people seem to be done discussing the PPV.

Geez, I'm just re-watching Vengeance and the match between Johnny Nitro and C.M. Punk. While watching, at the beginning of the match, you can hear thousands of fans chanting "We want Benoit"......"We want Benoit"...."We want Benoit".....And now realizing he had already murdered his wife and son by that point and was probably dead by then is just chilling......

so let's see: McMahon takes away the tributes to one of the greatest of all time, and continues to have Cena disgrace the wrestling business by overcoming impossible odds after impossible odds.
so for the umpteenth time, can I please ask Vince to just f*** off already and stop killing the business ?

The only killing happening is by your hero. And no, Vince is definately not killing the business, he is doing the age old face overcoming the odds move, which they did with Hogan, Rock, Austin, Steamboat, Warrior etc.

Yeah, it was interesting when Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat came out to Ultimo Dragon's old WWE theme. From one "Dragon" to another I suppose.

I have lost all respect for this small crap. He talks about how much he loves controversy, how he loves adding "fuel to the fire", but when something like this happens he doesnt stand behind one of the people who bled for his company, but backs down to the network and what they want. He doesn't want to be seen as "supporting a monster", so that the little kids wont stop buying his ing t-shirts. And that's what it's all about. Money and how much shirts he sells. That's why Cena is champion. Vince is the backstabber and the betrayer. He did it to Bret, he did it to Warrior, he did it to Eddie, he did it to Benoit, he did it to wrestling. In different ways of course, but its obvious Vince is exactly the opposite of what he claims to be. He's not "the boss". He's the slave. The slave to the networks, to other people's opinions, and most of all to money. How did he betray Benoit? By going on television and not standing up for a murderer. He did exactly what he had to do. And tell me, how was Eddie backstabbed by Vince?

I was there, and I was one of many chanting. Of course noone knew what had happened. I'm sure it woulda been a different reception to Nitro. Nonetheless, I wonder if WWE will try to edit the chants out once its made into DVD next month?? And seriously, atleast in my area, there was some serious trash talk going on because of the substitution. Alotta people were pissed, as I was. That was my most anticipated match of the night. Just sucks how everything turned out. Damn the PPV or the match, I'm talking about the tragedy. Just sucks that was going on or had happened as we were all mad that Benoit was not there to wrestle.

I would imagine that edits will take place to remove any "We Want Benoit" chants, as well as any images and mentions of Benoit period.
