Jericho told him not to talk shit, which, if you have a brain in your head, you can tell that there is a reason why he doesn't want him to say anything. This douche dick goes ahead and tells his horrible, and Jericho gets angry.
Not only that, but Jericho said numerous times, "This isn't going anywhere. Let's just talk about (whatever) and move along." Then Jericho pulled out his own joke, stolen from Seinfeld, to try and pass it on to another new subject. Jerry on Seinfeld visited a rabbi at a local church and complained about a denstist Jerry knew that changed his religion to being jewish. Jerry thought the dentist changed his religion simply so he could tell jewish jokes, and everyone be fine with it. When the rabbi asked Jerry if he was offended as a jew, Jerry said, "No, I'm offended as a comedian!"

Ha ha, Jimmy rules. I think it just got blown out of proportion. As much as I want to see Jericho back in the ring, he is a girl. It's not like Jimmy knew his mom was a quadie. Chris has been on O&A before, he should know what's up. He should also know Jimmy does Christopher Reeves jokes normally in his stand up. What did he expect?

Not to defend Norton.....but how is he supposed to know Jericho's mom is a quad based on dont cross the line? Its kind of unfair. But I guess when you dig yourself a hole like Norton did......you got to be ready to be buried in it. Why should it matter if he knew or not? It was a tastless moronic joke, it wasnt even funny. It pissed me off how he kept saying "if i'd known i would of been respectful, how was i supposed to know" I havent met one quadrapalegic in my lifetime and the joke offended me. The way Norton was speaking, he acted like if Jericho hadnt known Christopher Reeve and Jerichos mother hadnt been quadrapalegic, then he would have thought it was funny, which i dont think is true |
