Before the diva search was over, I predicted we'd see a lot of divas released, and I was right *clap clap clap* but I don't think its over quite yet. Maryse, Katie Lea, Nattie Neidhart and tons of diva search girls are looming, so which divas do you think will be released soon?
IMO the only divas with a solid spot (for a while at least) are Beth Phoenix, Candice Michelle, Kelly Kelly and Mickie James.
1. Torrie Wilson- she isn't attached to any man, and has been replaced in her feud with Victoria by Michelle McCool. When was the last time she was on TV anyways? Candice and Kelly have surpassed her in popularity in a very short amount of time, and she isn't getting any younger.
2. Layla- they are clearly using The Miz in the main event scene on ECW, and he won't need a valet once he is done with Kelly.
3. Cherry (along with Deuce and Domino)- she doesn't really lend a lot to the story, she is more like scenery that puts more emphasis on their lame 50s gimmick. The car is sufficient if you ask me.
4. Ashley- we don't miss her, she can't wrestle, and there is nothing left for her on Smackdown. When she returns, it will be on RAW where she will be fed to Beth Phoenix and released shortly thereafter.
That's all that I think will go soon, although I could be surprised (Kristal's release sure was)

Sounds logical enough, although I couldn't see them releasing Torrie though, keeping her around for an appearance once in a while would still be entertaining for a few more years.

I can actually see them getting rid of Victoria, honestly. I mean, do you remember the first diva search when they got rid of Jazz, Gail, and Nidia? It was  ing insane. Victoria isn't really doing anything that important at the moment (not that any of the diva's really are) and they could easily replace her with Katie Lea. I would HATE to see Victoria go because she's been one of my favorites since she arrived, but who really knows with the WWE? |

I'll agree with you on Mickie, Candice, Beth, & Kelly. I wouldn't be surprised to see Layla, Torrie, Cherry, and Ashley get the ax. I like Cherry with D&D as she could be used in a storyline later on. The other 3, well...
I really hope WWE keeps Natalie Neidhart. I was really hoping she'd be paired with Smith as I think they'd compliment each other very well.
Maryse would've been a nice help for Sylvian. Why the WWE didn't go with it is beyond me. But she could be a big help for some wrestlers trying to get pushed.

Okay I juat gotta ask..everybody's proclaiming the second coming of Maryse to be this huge thing, like she's an incredible wrestler or something. Last I knew, she was a Diva Search reject who didn't know how to wrestle. WATS UP WIT DAT?

Weird thing here is that why do we get frustrated with WWE Divas.. can we just focus our frustrations to male wrestlers? Its too ungentleman if we go after women here

I'll be surprised if Maryse is still around come Royal Rumble. Has she ever actually appeared in an arena since she was hired (excluding her time in the Diva Search)? All she did was welcome people to Smackdown for a while and hasn't even done that in months. Ashley still has a couple months left in her probably, as WWE will probably try to milk the Survivor thing for a little while once she's permitted to come back. Cherry will be gone within a year probably. Neither she nor Maryse were even involved in the Interpromotional Diva Halloween Contest/Battle Royal last week, so that can't be a good sign for them.
