DOUBLE MURDER-SUICIDE
It has been ruled that the deaths of Chris Benoit, his wife Nancy and their son Daniel earlier today were the result of a double murder-suicide from within the home. WWE.com will have more as soon as it becomes available.

Strictly speaking, you can roughly estimate the TOD due to the condition of a body. Time is not kind to a corpse. If rigor mortis had firmly set in on two bodies and to a lesser state on the third, it's a complete giveaway.
Bear in mind that rigor sets in at a max of 12 hours on average after death.

Random question: In the match they showed from Hog Wild, who was the other woman manager? I believe it was Miss Elizabeth

Dean Malenko did an excellent job in his segment. His talk was great.

IF he is ruled the murderer (which forensics will determine)....it will be hard to mourn a man who would murder his own child. I have a hard time telling my kid he is grounded or not letting him go to 711 for that slurpee for acting up. IF Benoit is responsible.....it's just completely unforgivable, regardless of what he has done in the ring.

Despite all the rumors, I'm not going to make a single comment on the possibility of Nancy or Benoit himself being a murderer. I don't want to believe it, and I'm not going to believe it until we have something more to go on than police assumptions and media rumors. When we have hard forensic evidence, I'll give my thoughts. For now, this was how I felt about Raw (copy and pasted from another board):
After seeing this week's edition of Raw, there are so many emotions going through me right now.
When I first heard the news, I couldn't believe it. And I don't mean in the figurative sense. Somehow, my brain wasn't able to comprehend the notion that Chris Benoit was dead. I felt the exact same way when Eddie Guerrero died- something in my head just didn't click, it just didn't sink in. I was in complete shock.
But I quickly came to terms with Benoit's death in what I felt was a fantastic tribute to the life and times of a great man. I felt so many things during Raw this week: happiness, sadness, anger, passion, everything. It was so much fun to relive some of Benoit's greatest moments. It felt like they really were celebrating one of the best wrestlers ever. They did what I truly believe Benoit would want them to do: they reminded us why we love Benoit so much. They showed us how he earned our love and respect, time and time again, by never giving it anything less than everything he could muster. We saw, once again, how Benoit could wrestle against anyone and churn out a good match.
And it wasn't just the matches, which were fantastic as always, it was the commentary given by his friends and brothers in wrestling that truly made this Raw feel so special, and so right. I just knew I would lose it during the Raw broadcast, and I admit, I teared up a lot sooner for Eddie's death than Benoit. Both hit me really hard, but what I never realized is that most of the footage shown from the Eddie tributes was from his DVD, and Chris's was from "Hard Knocks". Having never seen "Cheating Death, Stealing Life" but having fully reviewed "Hard Knocks", I didn't break down as soon as I thought I would because I had seen most of the footage beforehand.
I say this because the second they showed a newer tribute of him, the one with the piano introduction, I completely lost it. I cried pretty hard during Edge's and Chavo's speeches, but I really lost it when that slow piano music played and that song ran through all those Benoit clips. Just like Eddie's death, the knowledge that one of my favorite wrestlers is now gone, so far before his time, struck me so hard that I cried like a baby.
As one of my favorites, it feels like such an understatement to say Benoit was a great wrestler. Saying Benoit was a great wrestler would be like saying the ocean is wet. I can't even begin to describe my respect for the man who dedicated all of his life to giving us everything we could ever really want in a wrestler. There's really nothing I could say or put down in words that would show just how much I admire and respect Chris Benoit for all he's done and all he's given to the wrestling business.
Even "thank you" and "you will be missed" and even "rest in peace" seem like a pale imitation of what truly should be said. But that's all we've got to go on, now. It's all that's really left to say. Words can never truly capture just how we feel on these subjects, but we always try to do so anyway. So, in that regard...thank you, Chris Benoit. Thank you so much for all the memories you have given us. You will be missed more than you could ever know, by people around the world. You've touched the lives of so many, and are a true legend. Rest in peace.

What snapped in his in head? Anything at this point would be assumption. We can all take a guess though I'm not so sure that's appropriate right now.

Guess all the questions will be answered tommorow. Speaking of that, think they will have ECW tommorow?

That is hard to believe, that he would do that. Still I figured, something was up, when the show was canceled, any other time the show goes on.

thats very scary how everything that everyone spoke of tonight in the superstar speeches might be contradicted by the fact that he killed his wife and own son.
very interested to see what further news will be brought to our attention.
